PS5 graphics stealth heavy downgrade, pls fix ASAP

My Series S Xbox seems to be running 120fps better than my PS5.

Bizarre. Maybe the Switch will be 144fps with Epic settings and ray tracing.

It must be ps5 bug. Something is wrong, i dont think they decreased graphics on purpose when everything was good in season 1.

Exactly, it doesn’t make any sense since the game was running fine with season 1 graphics settings.

I had to switch from ps5 version to ps4 version to even be able to play.

I was experiencing so much rubber banding on ps5 version I had to switch. Players were all over the place, going through the floors etc. With the ps4 version I don’t have that problem as much.

Atleast you found solution for you but we wanna played fixed ps5 version!

What absolute garbage gen consoles. All that supposed power, and they keep releasing games with inferior graphics, and 30fps lock.

I guess the only good thing going for OW, is that it stays at 60fps.

This needs to get fixed. I’m certain it has something to do with the anti-aliasing. But luckily I have a 4K display which can compromise. :smirk:

Hopefully they will release a fix soon!

Good good, iam playing again today and it looks really horrible xD

I have the same problem, I’m playing on PS5 at 1440p 120hz but the game looks like 720p with 50% dynamic render scale. Won’t touch comp until they fix this, if they even bother fixing it

They have to fix this
 question is when

No its not that type of issue, the latest patch actually downgraded the ps5.

I feel dumb
I played for about 4 hours last night and didn’t notice any issues (and yes I’m on PS5). I’m really curious to see what I think of it when I play tonight now knowing there are issues.

The game is poorly optimized and I guess it’s only getting worse. My pc should easily run OW2 on epic (I run cyberpunk on high at 60fps) yet for some reason, overwatch strains my pc and my temps hit 80c

In fact, my pc ran ow2 on epic settings before the first small patch. After that it started bogging down

If you switch to Resolution mode, this is fixed.

Seems like Resolution mode is currently what Balanced was. It’s 60FPS. Before, Resolution mode was not a steady 60FPS. Now it is.

Game looked atrocious for me on a 4k TV before switching to Resolution. Frame rate in menus is locked to 30FPS in Resolution mode ATM, though, so beware.

I felt something was off on the Series S yesterday, felt like a lower FOV maybe anyone experience that?

Was sitting closer than to the TV than usual so put it down to that but now seeing this thread it’s possible some things were different.

The issue looks like it’s mostly affecting the framerate and balanced modes. Some people also have higher tolerance for resolution/framerate than others.
