I have tried resetting my PS4 and the overwatch application. I have done a full power cycle on the device. I have played other games online and have had absolutely zero issue. For some reason all of a sudden overwatch is experiencing frequent (roughly every 5 seconds) lag spikes. This is rendering the game unplayable for me.
Same here, as I said on another post nobody seems to care either. There are dozens of posts about this issue and not one solution. There’s barely any replies. Like are we just supposed to suffer with a broken game?
It’s not a problem with the game, it’s a problem with the connection to the game. Likely a routing partner that your ISP or Blizzard uses to connect you to their servers is responding slowly causing the lag spikes. Unfortunately, no one has posted networking tests so it’s going to be hard to diagnose that, which is likely why this thread didn’t have a response for over 18 days.
