I myself and many people new to the competitive game face this issue when you win 7 games and have less than 20 losses, and then you simply derank.
I was placed as bronze 5 then bronze 4 then bronze 1 for 3-4 times, after than everything went downhill. I was deranked to bronze 5, then bronze 2. I managed to get silver 5 but then it showed me that I was ranked from BRONZE 5 TO BRONZE 1, but I was silver 5.
This is clearly not a player issue, but a bug that doesn’t allow new players to rank up.

I am experiencing the same issue. I am literally hardstuck in Gold 3. I’ve won 7 matches on 4 consecutive afternoons and I’m getting the same results. Gold 3. The matches suck.
