Problem with players nowadays

Player threatened another player with a reporting system by asking everyone after the match (recently) at Shambali Monastery in arcade mayhem by typing this message:

“everyone remember to report [player] thanks <3”

If any player could or did lose their gaming account because of false accusations like this I believe Blizzard is fully accountable for this mess.

Hold up I know who this person is, TM Moira player 24/7, this seems very out of character for em to say this…Irish never really talks so I doubt they would say something like this

Not much you can do but report them back and move on. The reporting system is kinda busted in this game but it’s not bad enough that 1 idiot like this can get you banned.

Also edit their username out of the title it’s against the forum rules for whatever reason to call people out like that

And we’re supposed to take your word that this player is doing this right? Almost as if you’re here asking everyone to condemn them on your sayso…

I still think everyone here should know exactly what happened otherwise the problem will continue.

just report back.

  • Spam
  • Abusive chat.

and call it a day.

Turn off MATCH and TEAM chat. and it doesn’t matter what was said. No reason to keep chat on to defend yourself. and so what if people report a person for something.

I believe there are pictures of that chat.

You believe or you know there is? I’ve played multiple matches with and against this person and they have never said something like this

Unfortunately we can’t attach anything here but there is proof that this TM Moira is the one who typed it.

not a big problem to me, we all have feedom and our own judgement.
no matter it’s a troll calling or a legit accussation
if the chat is so powerful and i will probably say “smurf and cheater plz XXX yourself” all the time
also, the report count the amount of matches not player counts indivisualy, so that shouldn’t be a problem imo.

That is against toc. You could report the player for griefing.

They can’t be asking others to report you as well. I got so many confirmed reports like this when they harassed me.

But I don’t type in chat. So it’s all them typing nonsense. If you go back and forth you will be enticing them.

I tend to immediately report anyone who asks for reports in chat.

After all these years my overwhelming experience has been that these players have been the ones being toxic, harassing their team all game etc and then ultimately scapegoat somebody in match chat. Report and move on. They’re the cause of 90% of all toxicity.

Blizzard claims that you won’t get banned even if the entire lobby reports you.

Technically you need to get reported a lot of times across many matches for something to happen.

Reports don’t stack per match. 9 reports in one match = 1 report.

Depending on how vocal mr “remember to report this person” was, and what the situation was, he may get a report from me too.

Heyyyy yall so this was me that he is talking about!

Here is what happened: We played a total mayhem game, and Arthur here only ran around invisible as sombra the whole time, doing basically nothing as we were all fighting for our lives on point. At the end of the mayhem game, he barely had 3k damage in about a 20ish minute game. So, he was reported for throwing. Hope this clears things up!

I play a lot of Total Mayhem and I have absolutely no clue why people play the game if they’re just gonna throw :woman_shrugging:

So, go off Arthur, but maybe don’t throw games and you wont get reported

“I still think everyone should know what happened” and yet you don’t include that you threw the whole game lmaooo

But since you clearly just want attention, it seemed it worked!

They’re not, it’s in the TOS that they can revoke the access to your account at any time without any refund.

If it happens to you only once in a blood moon you’re fine, it’s not enough for the automated system to trigger.

I bet he was hack only unless knocked out of stealth. I have done similar challenges. I win 50 percent of my games doing that too. Not to brag, because, you know, the engagement based matchmaking ensures it. But it certainly feels good nevertheless!

He was nowhere near point at any point in the game. Just ran around the map occasionally popping out to shoot a person for half a second and then going away again. We lost on DEFENSE which is hard to do in mayhem simply because we were down a player all game, and we kept having other teammates leave because they were mad we had a thrower. I’m never toxic or yell at people or anything, but if you’re CLEARLY not putting in even an ounce of effort, I dont want you in my games. Arthur here just wanted to play victim

But I’m pointing out the guy going AFK and jumping off the map in my comp games. Some teams don’t notice.
