Nope. Not even on Urban dictionary. You can be hurt OR offended (as in annoyed).
And all the real dictionaries just note it means oversensitive.

You arenât seriously trying to make something into an official definition of snowflake, are you?
There is an official defintion of snowflake. It has been used that much mostly by right wingers to claim someone is over sensitive.
And yes, Iâm sure they will hypocritical put their own reactions as somehow different to the liberal reactions despite them using similarly toned replies. Thatâs part of the hypocrisy. Most of the people who use that phrase uniroincally are hypocrites.
Oh there is, and it includes offended, and as such hurt, but not annoyed, except as part of offended.
As such, my bet still stands. Hurt is very much a part of the insult, considering the whole âhurt feelingsâ thing around the word. Definitely a stronger case than saying hurt isnât a part of it.
I never said hurt wasnât part of it. I said that hurt wasnât the most important thing about it and not necessary to understand the definition.
You are taking exaggerations that are used to demean someone as actual behavior.
So when they say these snowflakes went and protested a statue, you think they all sat around and cried. Rather than you know, chanting slogans.
The criticism there isnât that they cried. Itâs that they shouldnât care about the statue.
Offended isnât even in the OED or Merriam Webster of snowflake. Itâs not important to understanding the insult and it can be applied to a wide range of emotions or none at all.
I mean you started with âthe exact same thingâ if I remeber right, if hurt is a part of it then annoyed and offended canât be the exact same thingâŚ
Your statue example against my âhurt feelingsâ example. If this was a pokemon battle youâd be Team Rocket, thatâs how badly it loses, heh. EVERYONE has heard of, and knows, of the connection between âhurt feelingsâ and the insult snowflake.
Oh, by the way, the dicionary definitionâŚ
âSlang. a person who is easily offended, overly sensitive, or emotionally fragileâ
That sounds a LOT like hurt to me, not annoyance. Sensitive, fragile, offended⌠Donât know about you, but to me, those words sound better with âhurtâ than âannoyed.â
I mean the whole dictionary thing is silly, itâs a new word in its current use.
Welcome to the last 5 years of people trying to change the definition of words and use them incorrectly.
I said the scenario of them calling people snowflakes because they didnât like people disagreed about a pride event while complaining about a pride icon in the game was the exact same thing by their own worldview. Since they see disagreement has some neutral.
Nobody said hurt couldnât be a part of it. If you take âhurt is unnecessaryâ to mean âhurt doesnât existâ then thatâs you being dense, not me.
âItâs funny how some gamers will be toxic with their âkeep crying sensitive snowflakes!!1ââ
This was the starting example, just a vague âcrying about snowflakesâ refrence, nothing more.
You did, by saying itâs the exact same as annoy, which it is not, so donât call me dense please.
Iâm off to walk my dog now, good talk. Have a nice night.
No. It wasnât. It was specifically about the people crying over the pride event.
Nope. I said that the two words were synonyms (which they are). And that the two scenarios were literally the exact same thing they were complaining about other people do.
I then called those people who cried over a pride flag being added while calling other people snowflakes out as hypocrites.
Thatâs what my post meant. Could have been worded better? Sure. I shouldnât have used a pronoun there. But, I just didnât think anyone would think the term synonym meant exact same thing. I thought I had sufficiently addressed the term just by using the word synonyms. Why would words have been hypocritical?
Regardless, itâs the behavior thatâs the exact same thing and not the words. They do the same behavior that they complain about others do when they whine about snowflakes. Most of them are wildly hypocritical.
Insisting that they are different because the liberals are âactually hurtâ and those arenât just memes is dumb.
I mean, when was the Forums not a nasty atmosphere for fighting and arguing?
Imagine report this post LMAO
Lol, stop acting as if offended and annoyed arenât the same thing.
And if you ment hurt.
Here are people spending 24h writing 100000 word paragraphs how a pride icon shoves something down their throat.
Apparently they got hurt, lol, else you wouldnât do that.
Edit: wups, didnât mean to reply to VenusArmani, sry.
I think you mean this reply for Hiddenpants.
Edit
And youâre right about the behavior. Which is what I was describing as the exact same thing. Notice how he cutoff the part of the quote that discussed the behavior I was talking about and then bounced from discussion? Should tell you how productive that conversation would be
