Just a quick one, i wanted to see how the community felt about this since i went away for a while and just recently came back.
i feel like venture is a fun character to play but they dont seem to have enough damage to close off the kills, like i can take a 1v1 and get an enemy to basically 1 hp but it always feels like i either dont have enough hp or not enough damage, so possibly make the hp 275 base instead or maybe like an extra 5-10 damage per projectile to compensate for the relatively small magazine size.
just some thoughts is all any suggestions would be appreciated
Venture’s in pretty good shape right now. If you’re struggling to make a kill, improve your aim, and try finishing off with melee strikes, or opening up with Drill Dash and then primary fire.
Wow. You don’t even need aim for those 1v1s you bravely take, but you want more hp and damage? Lolno. In reality, why wasn’t Venture also hit with the mobility hero hp nerfs? How is that underground rat not mobile?
There are ways to force Venture above ground and cancel the burrow.
Additionally, Venture is a CQC hero, and technically should have 300 health like Reaper, and Mei. The reason they don’t, however, is because they can generate shield health fairly easily.
Venture should’ve been knocked down to 225 with the others. They are a pure mobility character who can instakill those lower health squishies. They have the shield gain on top of it to make up for the lost health anyway, so it’s not like it could cripple Venture.
