So I was just thinking… Hammond, has not been out a year and has 1 (pretty much a second confirmed) event highlight intro, Sombra has been out for 2.5 years and doesn’t have one. Other heroes (besides Ashe and Baptiste) have at least 4 intros. Sombra seems to have been forgotten about for intros. Just putting this out there.

No highlight they release can be better than the “Hacked” intro. So why even bother?
No true Sombra player would ever use anything but the awesome hacked intro.
I dont understand why everyone acts like they couldnt just make a new hacked intro.
I mean they can certainly try, but it will be very hard to make even a sidegrade to hacked.
I dont think it would be difficult have the same hacked mechanic wiht something else. For example, one I suggested a long time ago that I came up with on the spot:
Highlight starts out as someone else, then there’s a small flicker as it zooms out and sees that it’s actually Sombra watching something on one of her monitors at her computer setup, reclining back in her desk chair.

what about one thats like her map thing where she touches the ‘map’ and some stats about the game pop up before her POG, that’d be good fun and could easily make me choose between the two. Do we laugh at someones poor performance or do we make someone think they got Pog? Decisions decisions.
Sombra? She doesn’t need a highlight intro…in fact they should just get rid of the 2 that aren’t the hack one…
And just leave her with the indisputable best intro in the game as her only option…forever
I would see something like what Sombra did in the beginning of the Infiltration cinematic as a second “Hacked” highlight intro.
None of the highlight intros have been revealed on the site yet, and they didn’t announce that as an intro (just a meme reply to a comment on Twitter), so for now it seems reasonable to assume that it’s not one.
Also I would put 2 of Sombra’s intros in the top 3 of all characters, so I’m not terribly concerned about her getting new ones.
I was under the impression that was just a reaction gif, not an actual intro. The quality looks more cinematic quality than something in-engine (but maybe im also just used to patoto settings after using them for too long)

Maybe Dramatic Hammond wasn’t an intro. And yes, hacking is an incredible intro, but she still deserves another one. Just because your favorite hero has an incredible skin you love, does that mean (s)he shouldn’t get a new skin? Like genji, not my main, but kinda enjoy him. He has Baihu, one of my favorite skins in the game, but I’m still upset he’s gotten no skin for 1.25 years obtainable by in game methods. Or maybe you just loooove Officer D.va, but you still want a new skin. Is it unreasonable? No, it very much isn’t. All I want is an intro I can use as well as her others (I like Hacking and Pulse). This highlight intro is easily not just her best intro- but the best highlight intro in the game by some margin I’d argue.

I would. I love that intro, but I still like some variety. I interchange most of the skins I use on heroes and I would love to for her intros as well. Assuming it was better than Stealth or whatever it’s called, I’d use it. I would bet some others would too. I don’t think it’s a lot to ask for after a hero is out for 2.5 years to get a new highlight intro.
