I play Overwatch because it’s fun. Also because the characters are nice.
There just isnt any game that captures me like this. Idk, hard to explain but i always come back to this game, even now that my time got less with more work i need to do.
I would say its the fact i dont need good aim to rise in the ranks. I hate aiming.

I play Overwatch because of its largely diverse community. It can also be both casual and competitive. The characters are all unique and have great story behind them.
I love how fluid and optimized the game is. I absolutely got sick and tired of a playing an MMORPG that kept me constantly at 145+ ping and this game is my escape from those poorly managed games.
Mei, Mercy, Winston, Torbjorn, Hammond, and Sigma because I can meme them and they have great spammable voicelines.
No I don’t listen to background music because its distracting and hard to listen to the environment.
Mei with white hair, pale skin, and is dressed up as a snow ghost from folk lore is my dream skin.

I desperately wanted to do something with my near infinite spare time besides read about Cenozoic vegetation communities.

Everything is bright, colorful and fun without being super cutesy and childish.

I don’t play as much but I still enjoy it. I don’t tilt easily, especially not in solo queue. Sometimes I put on music, queue and just have fun. Plus I like playing with friends.

I love the art style, sound design, music. They’re all really good and polished. Overwatch is one of the best looking games on the market. I don’t listen to music when I play. It distracts me.

The heroes. Genji, Hanzo, Cree, Torb, Tracer, Doomfist, Lucio, Echo.
And the maps payload and control are some of the best i’ve seen in gaming.
I play because my friend plays. If they stopped playing, then I’d stop playing.
I really only like the lore, despite how cliche it is.
My favorite characters are Junkrat and Roadhog. Always a fan of the comedic relief.
I don’t usually listen to music since I only ever play when I’m with a friend.

My idea of Ana skins is MORE skins. Hundreds, thousands, millions. There’s never enough Ana content.

Ana is the single most greatest achievement of semi-conductor engineering, gamedesign, art and performance.
She is peak character performance for any hero-based game out there.
Her kit is more fun to play than all games in existence combined.
Her character is the single most loveable character in any hero-based game.
She’s different, she’s mommy, she’s perfection.
Each and everyone involved in the making of Ana Amari should receive the nobel prize of peace.
The idea of a sniper healer, packaged in the great design, amazing voice and lovely character development is the pinnacle of game creation.
Overwatch could be the worst game in existence and I’d still come back just for Ana.
An Ana animated short would be the greatest piece of animation the film industry would see for decades to come.
When you look up perfection in a dictionary you’ll see a picture of Ana.
Have I mentioned her sprays? Especially the ones with her and lil’ Fareeha? Yes, those are heartwrenchingly cute and amazing.
Ana will be the best hero the overwatch team has ever come up with. There will never be a more perfect hero.
I’m aiming to eventually apply at Rabcat game art just to have a chance to work on an Ana skin.

I play Overwatch bc the game is very welcoming to players new to FPS games. It’s competitive without immediately excluding people who can’t pick up Widow right away and get a full team wipe by yourself.

I love that the game has a lot of female rep. Old, lanky, buff, fat, gay, autistic. As a pan fat woman w either autism and/or adhd, I’m happy to see characters I can relate to.

Symmetra and Mei, for some of the above reasons. Mei is very special to me because, if I remember some old official art correctly, we’re about the same body type. And seeing how people love the character so much has helped me grow more confident in my appearance. Symmetra for similar reasons- it’s great seeing a confirmed autistic character in such a popular game, and it NOT being a joke.
EDIT: OH and Roadhog, for being fat as well! I know his is kinda played as a bit more of a joke, but it’s great seeing a fat man as well that isn’t like… family guy levels of joke, you know? Fat rep in general is nice, but it seems fat men get a shorter end of the stick vs fat women. Roadhog is strong, reliable (for money, but still), is shown to have a softer side for pachimaris, and just happens to be fat. -
I can’t listen to music while I play, no lmao. I have a hard time focusing through all the visual effects due to previously mentioned autism and/or adhd, so sound cues are a big thing for me. Subtitles turned on for extra assistance.

If we could skip copyright, A GLaDOS or Chell themed skin for Sym would be AMAZING. Or a proper demon skin where her teleporter is an actual portal with sigils as the base/fire around the portal itself.
