I’ve been trying to dupe support heroes recently, yes. Easier to stay alive in the backline, although teammates have to take hefty damage for for me to get ult charge as a third healer.
Is it really good? All it does is basically pause the game in high rank. Oh widow ult over lets resume…
Gm3 Lucio otp. Honestly, walls is extremely good in the right hands. Best time that I know to use it is right before, or seconds before a team fight starts so everybody can see the positions of the enemy, which is extremely valuable, especially since I’m a lucio player, I can speed in my tank and they all have to turn around cause they’re about to be pummeled, while the dps just do their thing. Very valuable ult when used properly.
Ultimates shouldn’t be instant win button. Counterplay is good.

Oh, the discussion I’m missing out on.
It’s rare that I ever get enough ult charge when I Duplicate. At best, you can Duplicate Ana, Biotic Grenade some targets and Nanoboost a friend (tank) and go from there. Or you can try to Duplicate Lucio and run a Sound Barrier.
Those I find the easiest. Moira is also easy, but generally it’s better to just go on the offensive and use some damaging Biotic Orbs (or if your Supports are really bad, healing Biotic Orbs) to quickly charge up.
I agree that ultimates should be revisited and updated to suit 5v5. The same should apply to abilities. 5v5 was such a dramatic shift for the game as a whole that it would be a massive oversight to ignore that there are ultimates and abilities that were suited to the environment of 6v6 but aren’t quite as useful with one less tank on the field.

OP you forgot about the most important thing
There is one less tank and therefore one less barrier, matrix, etc. to block this stuff
many of the ults you listed were effectively buffed when OW2 came out

But also it’s second mech + very forcing ultimate that zones entire point. If timing is correct or map is wide open it’s not too hard to score kills. Think Numbani 2nd point where you can use D.Va bomb to completely remove position of defensive team and force to give up point or die. I think it’s fine as it is, at best we could slightly buff timer to explode (like 0.5 second or so). Probably just do nothing with it, it’s fine ult. Just not as oppressive as many others.
True, it’s underwhelming and annoying. Annoying because he can always use it as a dodge of anything and drop on you with punch. Underwhelming because impact damage is pretty much impossible to use to kill, it’s mostly just another ability to chain cooldowns. It’s good to enable aggression, it’s bad as a “press q to win” ult.
Agree. OW1 ult was much more fun and rewarding.
Since buffs to damage reduction it’s not terrible. I still don’t like it, but I see Cree ults getting value in GM. Pretty low value usually, but there are scenarios when it’s useful. You can stop blade, Primal monkey, sometimes Ramattra, fliers etc. with it. Usually just a zoning ultimate, sometimes free kills depending when you use it and how hard it is for enemies to cancel it.
That being said, I would gladly see a rework. Aimbot ult is pretty boring, standing in one place is weak. He could use some aim based ultimate like Sojourn has.
True. One of the worst ults in the game right now. Very easy to dodge, zoning not as forceful as D.Va in 99% cases.
It’s risky but deadly ult. It’s fine as it is, Pharah players still get a lot of value out of this ult. Damage is insane on this thing, all you need is some surprise. If people don’t notice you in time, you burst them before they can react. And if you give her nano or any sort of tank ability (bubble, matrix) she doesn’t die even when people look at her.
Reaper ult is very outdated, I agree. Any boop is usually enough to prevent any value + you can’t cancel it so you die then. Unlike Pharah it’s not high burst damage, so people have plenty of time to throw their Suzu/nade at feet or use Trans, Matrix etc. It’s also easier to cancel with stuns because it needs above 1 second to kill you. Barrage comes from angles you usually can’t see until it’s too late and you instantly die. Reaper ult is so easy to react to if you have any sort of burst heals or stuns.
Sym wall is absolutely amazing, I don’t know how you don’t consider this strong. Blocking entire sightlines and allowing shield dance anywhere on the map is nuts. It’s so hard to kill anyone dancing around wall unless you have bypassing shields weapon

Hanzo’s ult is good if used correctly, and even if he can’t get a direct kill with it he can still use it to cut off an enemy from their team.
Plus, he is probably the most broken DPS in the game and does not deserve a better ult.
I wouldn’t mind if they changed bap’s ultimate just so i could get the achievment. lol

I love Widow’s ult. I love how understated it is. It is so powerful but people kinda use it without realising they are using it because of how it works. I like sometimes going back and watching replays to see how my team used it.

Have seen ‘‘such and such doesn’t belong in a fps’’ said about practically every game mechanic there is in OW by now, some of you people wouldn’t stop until the game is just CoD.
Whatever you do, don’t look up brig’s rebalanced ultimate for season 4 
I’d actually argue brig DOES need a super juiced ult. Her base kit is laughable, and overhyped by people who are too afraid to give brig proper stats.
