I thought 150 dps was too much too, but it is frankly very hard to get that full 150dps and if you are slightly off it is MUCH less damage. I have noticed in most duels I am taking longer to get the elim. I also noticed that it is harder to deplete a damage orb all the way without throwing it directly at a crowd of enemies (which is not a good use of it outside of generating ult charge).
All these naysayers are just hopping in and asking for nerfs because they see a number they don’t like without testing the change. The Damage drop-off is VERY steep and it is not as impactful as people might think.
I played a couple of games with the new Moira and I got to say, it isn’t that good? 0-1m is basically hugging the orb, which I think is a fair range for it to do 150DPS. However, they shouldn’t have decreased the speed of the orb if they want it to do this much damage.
The fade really isn’t that big. I think it adds complexity to Moira’s kit and helps her become a not-braindead hero.
the problem with the orb change is it will require burst damage even more + aoe healing, as well as making non mobile supports stay bad (zen in particular, and make ana double countered) by something that isnt that hard to do
The orb is absolutly an issue. She can almost instant delete most dps/healers now … I didn’t have any issues with Doom when he was too strong but this Moira buff is insane.
The latch on speed was reduced. So it will latch on for longer, but be asier to move away from. So getting that max 150dps is harder as the target will have more time to dodge it despite it slowing near them for longer.
