i hate zarya, but having her deleted from the game is a bandaid solution to the counterwatch problem, which they will now never fix because it’s “on you to ban”.

I had two tanks who were apparently Dva and Orisa one tricks while I am Genji only and my Sistah Spice was playing Ana for a challenge. Zarya counters literally every important member of our team and yet nobody went to ban her. Some garbage Torbjorn that shot himself dead three times said, “ez.” I kind of regret my stance in that game. I ban only Sombra.
I could take personal responsibility. Or I could wonder why the hell Dva and Orisa players are the way they are. If you aren’t going to swap, maybe get rid of the beef cake that melts you? That might be a good idea?! Am I seriously supposed to think for Dva and Orisa players too?

Heck no, hero ban is the BEST implementation this game has. Some heroes simply tips the balance scale too much and ban solves that issue.

i’ll believe it when zarya is reworked. they’re nerfing sombra who has a negative winrate, for her bans, because they’re biased. for the same reason they will never touch zarya, you’ll see.

The absolute majority of the playerbase does not want Sombra to exist. There is no speculation, assumptions or guesses to make. Most people hate her.

because the toxics simply don’t want her to exist, there will be NO changes that will get her unbanned. None at all. therefore, the only solution will be to remove hero bans. unfortunately, this time they will probably take upwards of a year before realizing that, since they committed far more resources to doing this pointless experiment 2.0 compared to the first time.
also, i know you can’t be unbiased about a hero you hate, but nerfing a hero that already has a negative winrate because toxics hate her is absolutely unfair.

Is it that the near 100% majority of players are toxic or is it because the hero is fundamentally flawed and is toxic for the game? I think it’s the latter. Sombra is detrimental and needs looked at, Blizzard will probably have to do the Riot Special of nerfing until unplayable and a waste of a ban and then rebuild her (hi Yuumi and Zeri)

Nope. If people cannot be bothered to learn other heros-which at the same time helps learn their counters-that’s on them, that’s their problem. That’s a skill issue.
If you’re not prepared to learn the game properly before heading into a TEAM RANKED GAME-well, tough. Cry me a river. If you’re only QP then whatever, but I’m not putting up with that sort of garbage when it’s affecting my and other team mates SR when we have goals on a competative ladder. Suck it up or do something useful and learn the game properly.
I’ve been playing since OW1 beta and even as far back as then I knew I’d have to learn more than 1 hero. It’s 2025 now-and if people can’t grasp that-more fool them.
