I think we’re going to be seeing more Zarya and I don’t know why we haven’t seen more of her already. Things like the Halt+Hook combo is a wombo combo that takes a while but locked heroes into it but takes a long time for it to be executed, that’s a long time for zarya to bubble them to protect them. Ditto for mei’s freeze, it essentially delays any freeze for up to 5 seconds, as the first 1.5 sec is interrupted with 2 sec then 1.5 sec to attempt to freeze again.
And it’s not like you can focus on freezing zarya first, she’ll have the easiest time bubbling herself.
I think THIS might be why mei is where she is, everyone might have just forgotten how brutally Zarya shuts Mei down.
Oof, salty boosted GM gets called out for being bad. Y’all really need to be more open to criticism instead of being all “I’m GM you have no right to tell me anything at all about how the game works.”
The math has already been done on sites like Overbuff and OmnicMeta.
What else do you want to calculate?
The pickrates, winrates, damage done, healing done, E:D ratio, etc is already there.
No really, what else needs to be calculated?
We can already determine a hero’s viability and performances.
I could, but I probably won’t. Open forum and all. Don’t worry though, probably won’t be responding to you anymore. You could have accepted their criticism with grace but instead you just gotta bring out some pointless twitch link and point at your profile as if it proves something and say “shut up.”
Flawless argument right there. Truly none can possibly disagree with such sound logic.
Mei is a character that makes people stop playing this game. You literally cannot do anything to this character as a tank and she makes your life insufferable. You are getting walled, freeze, slowed. People who designed Mei should be forced to play against Mei only 24/7 as Rein to understand why it was, and it is a bad character for this game.
Personally think they should remove the ability to freeze people through others, but only after they implement a range of bug fixes for her, since she’s currently extremely inconsistent to play.
The problem with mei is that she just wont die. She has a wall to wall off the enemy and that wall lasts too long. And her self freeze is just unfair: she heals herself, don’t take any damage and can contest. Plus the freeze + slowing makes her just too much cc based and its not fun to play against her at all.
What i would suggest is that the wall should stay the same but only stay on for like 2 to 3 seconds. Second, you should just remove the self freeze and replace it with the freeze. So basically make the freeze an ability that has 2 charges like the tracer blinks. You can either chose to freeze the same enemy twice or freeze 2 opponents. So her primary weapon would be left with just the slowing effect.
The act of posting simply to bump a thread is considered spamming. This also includes bumping very old threads for no reason (called “necro bumping” or “necroing”). Users who are found to be bumping posts will be subject to forum account suspension and post removal
The point of projectile is that you predict hitbox location based on movement where the enemy will be. If the Mei guesses right, it’s like hitting a winner in Tennis. You can’t easily dodge it, because the Mei is targeting based on where she things you will be when you attempt to dodge.
Unless you’re standing still, projectile heroes never fire directly at the target. It’s like aiming missiles at a target in-flight.
As players gain experience playing the game/Mei, against those characters, they get better at guessing predictable movement patterns. Good Mei players can snipe as well as good Hanzo players. In fact, her projectile is even easier to use than Hanzo’s, because there is no flight arc.
