DVA seems invulnerable
Cannot be killed
So I just run down the clock by trying to avoid her all game. It’s not intentional throwing but the character seems like it’s unkillable

Somehow just doesn’t die, impossible to hurt and especially kill. I have to just run away and leave my team to get murdered

She’s either using matrix or driving a $2 billion dollar war machine at 75mph away or at you while dumping guided missiles in your general direction while you’re reloading.
She’s miserable to go against.

Guided missiles? That’s a new one. Try dodging her missiles? Because they’re not guided, and her missiles are projectiles while her shotguns are hitscan, meaning she can only hit with one and mostly miss with the other if you’re not standing still. Her shotgun pellet damage by itself is low. Like really low. Down to less than 1 point of damage per pellet low at a distance.
So to fight her, you make her DM, then immediately stop shooting, unless you have a beam weapon. Consider reloading so you have a full mag to dump on her when she drops matrix for a good second or longer—which is plenty of time to unload on her and make it hurt. Just aim at her center, which shouldn’t be too hard to miss!
And when you make her fly away? Ask yourself: Is she still there contesting that space? Why are you not walking forward since she gave it up?

Zarya is not as effective as she used to be against DVa. She needs a 2nd beam hero to help and supports who don’t have their heals eaten by DVa (most metal rank supports don’t figure this out).
Hog is pretty bad with all her armour and her matrix up so much. She can eat lots of his followup to a hook making him pretty useless in the game. In fact, I quite often see the enemy switch to DVa if I play hog now. Didn’t see that so much before.
She just stays out of rein range - why would he be a counter? She eats his fire strikes which denies him ult charge.
She runs circles around Ram - just removes herself whenever he starts punching. He can do very little to her. He can survive quite well though.
I’ve started playing DVa in this season because in some games where Zarya doesn’t work there is little other choice.
I just treat DVA as a sort of unkillable entity whom my only job is to avoid. Sort of like those 1 player games where it’s a boss fight with 30,000 HP and you can’t actually kill them. I just unfortunately sacrifice my team as the waves of “helpers” that keep her occupied. Totally unfair opponent but Dva players must be having the time of their life!
Dva, Moira, Sombra - the three plagues that ruin the entire game mostly, 90% of games these 3 characters have a 20-0 or greater K/D ratio.

Yeah… I’m losing to Dva all the time now even as Zarya. Dvas don’t seem even remotely scared of Zarya anymore.
It seems like with the increased health, and therefor armor, of Dva, she can survive indefinitely against Zarya if she’s receiving even the slightest tickle of healing.
There has been several occasions where I was at 100% charge and just holding down left click on Dva, but a Kiriko was in the corner healing her and she never even went to her normal health below armor before I died, even with bubbles. Just ran into my face, completely unafraid of my fully powered beam and destroyed me.
I actually would not mind if DM halved the damage of beams while it was up if she got a bit of a decrease in armor, because she is extremely tanky.
Not only that, I’m noticing she gets her ult WAY more now. There has been several occasions where she got it twice in one teamfight in the span of a minute.
No, I don’t think Zarya should shut her down and counter her totally for free, but she’s kind of nuts this season. I feel like I HAVE to go Zarya against her now or I’ll have no chance whatsoever.
