Nothing like being in the throes of pitched combat, a bloody battle for control of the point, while a Swiss Navi is in your ear asking “WOULD YOU LIKE THE SPONGE OR THE SPRAY?”
Or doing the Hustle in spawn, saying “I’ll send you my consultation fee!”
Spamming voice lines in general is so inane.

I wish. Whatever 4-5 limit of voicelines is not enough, you can spam them again after a second. And it’s always “And dey say…”, “Mada mada”, “Sorry, sorry, sorry” or even Mercy pocketing duo queue Pharah (she’s got nothing to do, but hold m1, so spams away). If it’s not that, it’s Ana who just respawned spamming “group up” because (and this is actual justification I got once) they “spam to let others know where heals are”.
And when you try call them out on spamming, they’ll say something like “It’s not spam, cause it’s not in any communication channels, look at the definition”. Problem is, it IS in communication channels. If you use voice chat, you won’t listen your Zarya calling out ult cause there’s “K.O.” all the time.
Voicelines used to be a funny little thing people would do in spawn before game started, but now it’s just spam from some smug DPS playing whatever’s OP at the moment.
No, you don’t. You don’t have all chat, so you don’t get “ezzzzzzz” every single game from some boosted “GM”.
i must agree with you, in fact i tried to make a post about it, but still nothing is being done about it.
People really need to stop spamming the voice lines, its annoying , tiring and is just a distraction from the game its self.
The game needs more refined volume controls.

Or just give Widow’s ult a sound effect, then I can play without voicelines as every other critical ult/ability has an clear enough visual or audio effect. I tried getting the hang of using subtitles but unless that gets a custom filter is it next to useless and more spam than actually informative.
