My game keeps crashing and I don’t know why. I have tried re-installing 3 different times and switching devices. I had my game crash 3 times today while I was trying to enjoy a comp game as a result I got banned for the rest of the season
I was wondering if someone can help me look into why my game keeps crashing and and force quitting. My hardware exceeds the minimum requirements and I updated all drivers.
Please help me, I really want to play the game again and I don’t understand why the game keeps crashing mid game.
This forum is for player-to-player troubleshooting, however, members of the community are often willing to look over a diagnostic report to see if any glaring issues can be spotted. Can you add a DxDiag here?
Click here to show/hide DxDiag report instructions
- Press Windows Key + R, then type DxDiag and press Enter.
- In the DxDiag window, click Save All Information.
- Name the file dxdiag and click Save.
After you have the report:
- Upload to Pastebin.com.
- Paste the link in your reply.
Note: If you have trouble posting the URL, highlight the link and click </> on the post editor toolbar.
Please note that there is no guarantee what’s causing your issue will be apparent from a DxDiag and you may need to do more investigating on your own or speak with a PC technician.
I’ve been running into the same problem for about a week or so now. Just started diving into it in the past few days or so. You’re not alone!!!
Do you know if there is anyway I can appeal the ban? I purchased a new laptop to get around this as I assumed it was hardware related as Ive tried steam decks.
Be aware, Blizz bans anyone talking about “actions taken on accounts”, so even talking about this will get you banned further, lol. But to answer your questions, you can appeal but they will either not review it or automatically deny it. This is from other users attempting the same thing on the forums.
You can’t appeal bans that result from disconnection penalties, and I believe any ticket for that matter would be closed automatically. If you have another penalty, then yes, you can submit a ticket to the staff about it. Appealing a Silence, Suspension, or Ban - Blizzard Support
I don’t know if you have the same problem as I do, but I found something that works…for me anyway.
I play the Steam version of OW2. I found that having the battle.net launcher running while playing OW2 gives me the CTD. When it’s not running I don’t have any crashes.
Im just getting some really weird slow-down with FPS on maps. at random parts of the day. Im about ready to uninstall at this point and go find a new game to call home and maybe just delete my blizzard account entirely.
January patch has made this awful.
