Please fix player icons

Can we please have a option to buy them for credits?
Also please consider to add some kind of sorting system

A search/category system is really necessary

I have chosen my players icon. It will never change. Soldier 24 is my destiny.

Im not much up to change my icon and thats main reason why i dont see problem with that would need like gold version of this one for me to change, or gold icon of training bot

But yea, i dont know why we cant just be able to buy icons. That dont make much sense.

We need both - the ability to unlock icons with credits, and a search/category system.

And come to think of it, they are rather stingy with giving out credits.

Why not have a baseline 10 or even 15 credits given per game played, while the tank/support still get 25 credit as their bonus?

Because too much credit is going to ruin the in-game economy? Really?

I don’t care much about/rarely change my icon, but this a QoL feature I would definitely appreciate.

please the fact that its been a 4 year game and it feels like a boomer folder,sometimes I discover new icons

Jeff said in a interview all the items in game can be unlock via the in game credits, not true when it comes to player icons. It took me forever to get my beloved For the Horde! Icon out of a loot box. Whereis the player icon love?

I personally would love to get credits for acomplishing achivements(event thou theres not a lot of them) and a posibility to give credits to friends you can do it in Diablo i dont understand why you cant in Overwatch

If i’m not wrong i think jeff said that some type of sorting system with the icons will be added in OW2.

If a Blackwatch Reyes one existed… I would probably alternate between it and Blackwatch Moira on my main lmao.

I assume it would be similar to the S24 one, but with a grey background and a hat instead of the hair .

If black watch reyes had one, that would be the one I use, but his player icon is the blackwatch symbol??? XD
