I have said this multiple times and I’m gonna say it again.
Zen got nerfed for the sins for Baptiste and Brigitte who are too good at peeling and healing *(Seriously Baptiste outheals both Ana and Moira, while Brig heals just as much as Ana whilw doing way more than Ana or Moira)*removing Zen's biggest weakness, his survivability.
