Galaxy brained team leader: “Let’s split up. We’ll cover more ground that way.”

Viewer: “Hey guys, there’s a shade (Freja, Pharah, Echo) flying over you.”
Rifle wielding grunt with Y axis inverted: “I only see ants down here.”

Viewer: “Hey guys, you’ve just captured (slept) a giant frog (Lucio, Genji). Finish him!”
Rogue with a heart of gold (Junkrat): “It is just like I was, once upon a time. If I can change, so can this thing.”

Viewer: “Hey guys, that big purple fiend’s (Ramattra) weakpoints have been marked (discorded). Concentrate fire!”
Ace pilot with rocket gun (Pharah): “I have a score to settle with that dominatrix with the 19th century antique gun (Ashe).”

Viewer: “Hey guys, that creepy girl with the fiendish smile (Mei) is going to freeze you to death. Speed (Lucio boost) out of there!”
The drunk: “It’s high noon! I stand my ground.”

Viewer: “Hey old man, now is not the time to entertain fatalist thoughts. The others need you!”
Fatalist old man tired of shepherding a bunch of idiots: (inwardly) “Death approaches. I will face it with my hammer in hand.” (to the others) “I have taught you all I know. Farewell.” (charges into a swarm of monsters, never to be seen again).

Viewer: “Hey co-Support standing near the Tank, why didn’t you heal them?” “Please stop feeding, Moira” “Deploy your pylon, Illari” “Hey co-Support, stop standing in front of your Tank” “Damage-role guys, I’m not a shield, I’m your healer, stop running behind me” “Tank, don’t be passive, get in there and fight, you’re at full health and I’m healing you”. “Don’t sit in the chokes/narrow passages, just retreat or push on through”

And so on…

This is normal. It takes time for them to learn, tutorials would help here, but positioning really tends to take a more… practical learning experience.
