They admitted in another thread they used to cheat in Counter-Strike, and told me to go cheat several times so “I’d understand” that everyone else is cheating.
This is just someone who likely themselves is a cheater. People who cheat commonly use their own limitations as a benchmark for what is possible, so if they never improved beyond gold on their own, and require cheats to go beyond that, they convince themselves that the only way other people did the same was also by cheating.
Yes, I cheated in many games. I used to make cheats. I used to memory hack, made pixel bots with AHK, made trainers for public use. I used to be so cool as a kid.
I’m old af now. I’m good at games still, so this is my grass. You all need to respect my lawn. There is a difference between f’ing around with cheats and a game that is completely overrun and pay to play.
And a game that is sold as an Esport to children. Ranked gameplay is a complete lie. It’s a pay to play unskilled botfest and kids need to know.
that explains the massive SR inflation, everyone who wasn’t hacking got boosted loads of SR, like 500 sr lmao. Myself included. The state of hacking is mad, but thers no point complaining about it, either get good and cope, or join them. It’s not that deep really. This game can never be truly competitive, and FPS in general is losing the war against hacks
Stuck in silver because their playstyle as dps is inting into the Rein.
Ended up uninstalling it because they wanted to play something like Valorant who is famously good at finding cheats for other games.
I am a Rein Winston main.
What the hell do you think I’m cheating on that?
So you’re a cheater right?
No you didn’t.
There isn’t any kind of a prediction script for a hitscan aimbot. They just hit 100% of the time with no way to dodge. The only hitscan aimbots that are dodgeable is Cassidy’s high noon.
If you’re dodging them. They’re a human player.
Eh. No they don’t. Otherwise I wouldn’t have been maintaining a 80% winrate there before I took a break in season 4 because playing with Life Weaver is miserable.
Sure sure. That’s why a bunch of cheaters get stuck in gold and plat right?
With bad enough game sense and positioning you ain’t gonna win even with 100% accuracy.
No you aren’t. Otherwise you’d be in top500.
Yeah seems about right.
Nodnod. They can’t possibly accept that others could do better than them.
I couldn’t get into GM (though maybe if I kept grinding at it :D), and that’s a skill issue of mine. Not because gm is impossible to get into or anything.
We prefer ‘cringe’.
No we don’t need to respect some old timer who claims to be ‘amazing’ yet couldn’t get to masters without cheats. It’s not that hard man.
It absolutely isn’t. You just have a skill issue, cheated to masters and couldn’t get past it.
Whelp. Time to report your account, see you on your next alt cheater.
Do you think the Flat Earth Society is all just full of trolls too? Go out into the real world and see what some people actually believe. It’ll blow your mind, apparently.
I feel like thats not quite what they mean to say. I think its more like, the number of active players who are using cheats is so extensive in that part of the rank distribution, that a lot of the ppl at a higher rank than you actually have poorer game sense than you in gold if you are legit, its just that they can see on a widget everyone’s ult charge, tell who’s where through walls, and have a very natural looking soft lock
If you make it to Gold’ish, you beat ranked, you won, you saved the princess.
If you want to play the second quest, it costs around $100 a month on average and you don’t even get to fully play anymore. You just watch through walls and aim kinda near targets with your giant FOV bubble that tracks anything in it, much like soldiers ult but natural looking.
For some reason players are really enjoying this type of gameplay or they wouldn’t be doing it.
I just think the kids in low rank who are grinding and follow esports and watch streamers and all that BS need to know its all fake.
I believe the sites that say theres 300k that are hacking because there were 200k in ow1 and they are legit af if any of you are bothered enough to look them up (its not hard to have a casual look) and see just how easy and normal the hacks look. Theyre indistinguishable from normal play to the majority of people now. I do disagree with OP about how people cant be higher ranked without cheats tho. I’m high masters pushing gm on dps and masters on supp without cheats and I cope just fine. There are streamers and pros who probably cheat on the downlow and others who dont who regularly dunk on those who do. It is what it is and really we should just get over it. Overwatch will never be a competitive game and worrying about cheats and hackers is a waste of time
Oh there’s probably a fair amount of cheaters in high ranks. But it ain’t in every game. It’s like 3% of the populace.
Seen an uptick in god awful soldiers reaching diamond with no positioning skill though. Could see some of them having cheats. But even still that’s a very small percentage of my games having cheaters.
If you make it Gold you made it past the average congrats. You did not win ranked.
Nope. You just have to get good at the game.
It absolutely isn’t. I’ve grinded my way to masters assuming legitimacy on all parties, and if I kept grinding I’d absolutely get to gm eventually. I just don’t want to deal with more Widow v Widow maps.
personally I think its a lot more than that based on t500 leaderboard post-season ban rates. There are like 420 dps in each region after the season because like 80 get banned. Theyre the ones who get caught after the season. That means theres nearly 1 cheater per game in t500, for 4 dps per game. Theres a lot more than you think. You can see this if you check the past seasons t500 leaderboards
I mean generally conspiracy theorists are not of sound mind anyway. However for a lot of Flat Earth people I would suspect it is a group memeing it and then a few suckers who do not realize that the nonsense of that theory is the joke.
oh true I didnt think about toxicity and stuff, I just imagined no one whos t500 would waste that much time grinding hours just to say some slurs in a streamer’s game but yk I could be wrong, theres a lot of very bored people out there
I imagine that a fair amount of dps mains get pretty toxic when they don’t get a Mercy pocket amongst other things. The more invested someone is the easier it is to get abusive real quick.
Possibly. The OP could be cheating and uses their cheats because they think everyone else is cheating. This is a justification cheaters use a lot of the time: “They have to be cheating so I might as well too.” It’s very sad how they constantly make excuses to avoid looking inwards and improving their own play.
I am literally human anti cheat. I learned to fight bots in top 500 in old old days of OW1.
So when I play, there is nothing else for me to do but anti-cheat. Every player is the same to me, except different cheat profiles which means the speed in which they track changes.
The movement prediction script I talk about is part of what makes the bots look natural.
It’s extremely easy to make an aimbot. You use a method to find location, then click on location. I used to make these with AHK (external bot). Modern bots use memory (internal bot).
The part of the script that makes them look natural is the part that is exploitable. They can not hit a fast moving target with a default profile. Like I said, it’s intentional and part of what makes it look natural. If a target is moving too fast, it will trail and mimic your exact movement, at a delay. I abuse this hard.
What happens, is that in Masters, I abuse bots and glitch them out, but then they turn up their cheat profiles to what you would call a ragehack, or nearly a ragehack. This is where even an unskilled player can see something is wrong, its no longer natural. This is when I taunt them in chat, and get reported, by both teams.
The cheaters are not reported. Even though they are ragehacking. Blizzard, watch my recent games. I’m not joking, you can see that everyone cheats, how I F with them, and maybe learn to detect them. It really should be easy.
