as I said a few minutes ago, Groups A and B have been well detailed in this and other Pink Mercy threads. An appeal to “just donate” is mis-targeted on Group B, which is what Pink Mercy is intended for
I find it odd that the BCRF itself willingly and eagerly works with group B, yet forum members here seem to prefer to attack members of group B instead.
Group A needs to go buy a Pink Mercy account because after literally years it’s evident the skin ain’t coming back, and that if it is, Blizzard will tell us.
Whining here is annoying and has never done and will never do anything productive. Email or call Blizzard, or be quiet.
First, theres been nothing in this or any other Pink Mercy thread that can reasonably be described as “whining”
Second, the use of the term “whining” is clearly an attack on other forum members. This is against both the spirit and intent of this forum, and I ask that this cease
Third, no one can legitimately claim that the skin will never return, as no one has the ability to see the future with certainty. as such, statements of this kind tend to rob the individual makign them of credibility
Fourth, the skin will return when and if Blizzard decides i will return, regardless of how many forum members declare it can never happen
Fifth, using a purchased a Pink Mercy account is illegal, and I strongly recommend that no further recommendations to perform illegal acts be made
Finally, telling a fellow forum member to “be quiet” is inappropriate given that this website is set up explicitly for open discussion of legitimate OW-related topics like this one
All the streamers producing bronze to GM content, you think they went out and played abysmally for 25 quick play levels plus placements to get that account? Of course not.
Has anyone bothered to reach out to BCRF on the possibility of a future collaboration again? Doubt anyone would find much of a response though. Without BCRF, then there won’t be another time to get pink mercy. They raised a ton of money when it was released so for them to not approach blizz again means they probably aren’t interested.
I’m honestly all for it and I hope they charge you $120.00. Raise money and make you dish out a huge chunk of change for being insufferably annoying.
Yet here we are. Blizz could use a win and we know they’re not going to get it from releasing a good patch (they have to make one first). So what is stopping them?
There is more to it than BCRF saying they’re interested, because it takes two parties and BCRF isn’t obligated to mention if there is a “but” after the “we’re interested”, and since Blizz is silent as usual, then doesn’t look like we’re going to see anything.
This is all so stunning to me… its not that great of a skin. Just donate money and put it on your 1040.
that said, one wonders why a forum member who has declared a group of other forum members to be “insufferably annoying” continues to discuss things with said group.
For me personally, because this topic keeps coming up for months? I know we can walk an chew gum at the same time but the game has a lot of pressing issues. A mercy skin isn’t very important to the other all health of the game.
Guys, I honestly think dodo wants someone to exchange witty cleaver conversations with. The topic doesn’t matter.
Have you ever been asked by anyone what the time was and you check with your own eyes and say “oh it’s 2:30” and dodo sees the same time anf goes “No it’s not! it’s 2:28!” and then you do that giant breathy sigh?
oddly enough, there are many repeated topics on this forum, with some repeated far more often than Pink Mercy.
There is no forum rule I know of that says that a topic must have a certain level of importance to be discussable
There is a rule that says topics need to be OW-related (tho yes, many non-OW topics do get discussed) but this topic is a legitimate ow-related topic through and through, so no problem there
That said, it is a subjective call to say that one topic is more important than another. For some folks, this topic is more important than some where you’d see it as the opposite
Importance aside, people discuss what they are interested in discussing, regardless of importance. I am interested in private profiles remaining a default setting, so I enter discussions where that is being questioned; and it never matters to me whether items that are alleged by others to be more important are being discussed without my presence there.
Bottom line is that as long as a topic is ow-related, its level of importance is really irrelevant as to whether it can be discussed here
