Ping spikes getting worse

According to the test, the average ping to the server would be about 14ms. Because of that, I’m going to quote a previous post from the staff that I think may help here:

I think something else is going on here - probably quality of service related. Try updating your network drivers , and if you have a killer network card, install the Killer Network Manager, then disable Advanced Stream Detect.

If neither works, do you have a separate modem and router? If so, bypass the router to wire directly into the modem by ethernet. If that works, it probably means it’s a router firewall settings like Quality of Service there.
