Persisting Audio bug on PS4

I made a post about this a week ago, but didn’t get any response, so I’m posting it again.

I play on PS4, and ever since the most recent update (I’m using 1.21.0.1-44916) ((Now using 1.22.0.1 - 45420)), I’ve had these problems with audio cues:

  • When being hacked by Sombra, there is no longer an audio effect until you are fully hacked
  • Can’t hear enemy footsteps or Pharah jets when they are behind you
  • Enemy ultimate’s often aren’t being announced. (example: d.va’s mech flies in silently, instead of having its “nerf this” call line.)

These bugs are having a serious effect on the games pliability and is taking the fun out of the game

Sorry you’re running into this issue. Are you using 5.1 surround sound?

Me and most of my friends have the same problem with the enemy ultimates.
How can i control if i’m using this type of sound?

I get this all the time on PS4 and it’s getting worse. I’ve had it happen with both 5.1 and without.
