2 years silence don’t exist on OW, 1 silence => suspension => suspension => suspension => permaban.
No it really was someone else this time
I have had streamers ask me to introduce him to them, so they could capture his raging in game on their stream. Not even making this up…
You’re just assuming but regardless it’s not the topic of discussion.
It’s nice to see that people just jump the gun without any sort of information…
Jeff Kaplan was and now he is vice president at Blizzard. Google Tigole Everquest Rant.
Yes, but here again that’s the purpose of a permaban. Doing mistakes lead to a ban for several days/weeks if you are perma it means you crossed the borders. Therefore you are penalized.
No one says you will never change, that’s why you can get a new account and try not to be banned but you lost your account, that’s the sanction. You lost the account-> you lost the progress-> play OW2 if you want but you won’t take back what was taken from you.
Note that I say you in a general way, i understood it could be someone else.
Maybe they should have learned their lesson on the first silence, but still decided to be toxic, anyways if it isnt your account why worry? Hypothetically you did nothing wrong
Holy…you’re really an obnoxious and haughty person, I hope that one day you get punished for being so passive aggressive.
And?
I repeat, why would they want anybody who was bad enough to get permabanned in their shiny new game?
The easy answer is if he is willing to give them money of course they would.
But if it is the option where he doesn’t buy ow2 his account probably will hold it’s current status when they “merge” the games
It’s a new game, it’s about being fair and transparent.
I’ve never heard of bans carrying from one game to its sequel, maybe they exist
Wasn’t very fair for you to do whatever got you permabanned, was it?
If you don’t realize it after the 5 suspensions you get prior to account closure, then they shouldnt be in the game.
And just because of that they should be able to come back? No, they should not and they are not.
And a lot of people would love it if they stayed banned.
Careful there we woudnt want to miss you here in the forums too
I don’t have the answer to that but, if you got permabanned in one game then I’m pretty sure they just don’t want you in the game no matter if its OW or OW2.
Uhm yeah Blizzard loves money.
Yes it’s a new game. You can buy a copy and play, but don’t expect anything from the banned account to carry over. People have answered your question several times but yet you argue.
There is NO reason to give back what was taken as a sanction. The infraction was done, the punishment was meted out. Done deal.
You wanna play the new game? Sure! grab a new copy and start fresh. No marks on your account, no old achievements.
If someone commits a crime and pays a fine, you don’t get that fine refunded to you later because you reformed… it’s EXPECTED you reform and start over.
Where did I say it was me? People make mistakes, in fact the last suspension on the account was almost 2 years ago then a couple of bad days and boom, permaban, no N word, no life threats or no horrible things like that, just calling people bad and raging in voice, not an excuse, giving some background.
This just gave me a weird sense of sadness. It’s like we’d be leaving behind all of the memories we’ve made over the last 4 years and trying to replace them with new ones ![]()
