I can’t play this game in comp with at least one reliable person with me in a squad, and today I tried it out and had the worst matches that reminded me about all the misplaced\boosted people in comp and why I don’t solo que. The game is just plain out garbage in solo, with you practically gambling sr in hopes that you get people that are competent. So I have to ask, why even solo que? Seems so pointless if the sr never moves and the matches are terrible.
the lack of friends and the promise of getting glittering golden guns
I prefer solo because I have no friends on my friendlist. ![]()
Because I have no friends that play OW on console and matches are generally easier in solo queue - you either get an easy win or an easy lose.
And tbh I’m climbing right now a lot solo queuing, got from 2800 to 3400 for a just a month and now I’m 2 wins away from master.
Masochism.
Killing Tracer
Causing Tracer’s demise
My friends are smarter than to play comp
and all the LFG groups require certain winrates/hours and you have to get those somewhere…
I only solo q when i don’t have enough time to LFG.
i usually solo on a 2nd account so it doesnt bother me as much when we have a throw comp or people leave
my bestie is 2 elos below me.
So i solo qeue and play qp and arcade with him
I mean personally, you could just talk on the comms and every now and then you’ll get someone who responds. I’ve met a ton of great players that way. Trust me it beats solo que and takes away some of the pain lol
Boredom waiting for something I like that peaks my interest to come out so I can jet for good finally. -jumps off the sinking ship-
I was waiting for this voice line to pop up. Thanks.
Because I had no friend, stranger who added me only to bash and flaming me after matches.Since then,I no longer add friend or approve friend.
When my team win,I added them,queue with them,but when lose,they unfriend me,so yeah,stick with solo q better.
I would feel that way too if I mostly played Rein/Ana, two highly team-dependent heroes. If you’re solo, and people aren’t sounding like they’re planning team comp and strat during hero select, then maybe play more of your Orisa and Moira? Or for even more independence, Hog.
Personally, I just went to the dark side and became a DPS main. It’s a simple role for a simple man. See the bad people, shoot the bad people. Also my SR actually goes up now. Turns out it’s true that you don’t win if your DPS can’t kill anything.

i don’t care about the game, enemies, teammates. I care to play hero i like way i like.
It’s usually McCree.
Thats honestly pretty true lol, I got to top 500 one tricking moira, even getting rank 2 with her lol, but can only maintain Masters with the other tank and supports. Id keep playing moira, but my tracking suffers after a while and its not that exciting for me :\
because its easier to actually carry a game solo queue or make game changing plays than it is in stacks
your team are uncoordinated bots 90% of the time, but so is the enemy team. find a hero you like who can do things that punish poor coordination/positioning and learn to exploit it for all its worth and get easy wins
when youre in a stack, youre usually placed against other stacks at roughly the same ratio (ex each team would probably have a, 3 stack, 4 stack, etc) and those people will probably be coordinated enough to notice you and have the ability to adapt to focus you. if your 3+stack (especially if its LFG, which is just solo queue which makes sure everyone has a mic) is less coordinated/skilled/flexible you will get rolled.
before i got this account for multiple reasons I dropped 600 SR maining tank in 6 stacks, then i got this account which only occasionally duos with a friend and i am now almost at the same place i was at pre drop on my main playing characters i wasnt used to. if i was playing rein/zarya/reaper only i would probably be mid-plat right now
foolish stubbornness.
