Depends on your CPU, if its a cpu 4-5 years old you will get nothing and maybe like 2-3 fps newer cpu, but in benchmarks, video audio rendering a bit more.
Right now ddr4 at 3000mhz and ddr5 at 5000 is a 2 fps increase, but it can create a bottleneck depending on how hungry your cpu is.
Considering your CPU go for an upgrade.
Ryzen is actually benefiting from higher frequency and you will feel the difference for sure. Maybe you wont get a lot of FPS, but overall it will be an improvement.
Mine is in stress tests and i have tried reseating it (not my first cooling loop, not even close), EK water blocks are all corporate garbage now, the 3 other barrowint blocks i have used, cost half as much, work the first time, don’t require all the EK specific things to have a warranty (EK literally tests residue to deny warranty) and barrowint lets you use the awesome backplates. Just all around better.
ingame on max settings at 2k might hit 45c as a high.
not sure if it’s the block, gpu, just newer cards using more voltage, seating or what but the only real change is the block. my old 1070 wouldn’t hit 75c OC’ed to the point of instability.
Headset that I’m in love with. The gamedac is acts as an amp so I can get better sound without worrying about my PCs sound card not having the juice to support higher ohms like a seinheisser 880 or something. It also acts as a control center for equalizer and other sound settings like 7.1 digital surround
