PC Console mixed games

Why are you so obsessed with me?

Legit stalking my account… I’m laughing irl.

Last reply for you… don’t be creepy.

You’re projecting, who on earth would be obsessed by you.

Want to apologise? A thank you for the info is acceptable too.

PC players don’t like having to carry console kiddos either, but blizzard needs to hide this games dwindling player count somehow

Do we not say phrasing anymore?

that’s a valid point…if people on xbox are typing in chat that easily, then its obvious they are using a keyboard, which is against the rules…that requires a xim device…report them

well, they ARE correct, the only way you are getting in PC pools is if you are grouped with a PC player…likely you are just seeing xim users…which is a rampant problem on consoles

lol, i think they meant to say “foundering”?

Floundering.

And yea these must be xim players, lame-o’s

yeah, sorry it happens to you, trust me, i dont like it either when they come into PC lobbies, because they get the benefit of mouse and keyboard AND get the benefit of aim assist as well…so it’s sucks in PC lobbies too…and i get PLENTY of console players in my lobbies…and im sure many of them are ximming.

It’s not a valid point, USB keyboards are plug and play on modern consoles like Xbox. Using a keyboard to type in chat is not against the rules at all and are supported natively by the OS. You do not require a Xim or Tac commander or similar device, please don’t report them or use that as the sole basis for ascertaining if people are using unapproved peripherals.

I’d wager most players are not, unless there’s more in quick play than competitive which I would think is unlikely.

I have one of those little keyboards that plug into the Xbox controller sitting in a box somewhere.

I forgot about those too. I remember having something like that for my Xbox 360 ages ago.

Only a loser would call this debunked, very valid… why can’t people just play fairly.

well you cant crossplay in competitive, so yes, it’s in QP…and i get a TON of console players in QP who you can tell their aim is fluid enough that it has to be M&K

Not valid, debunked.

Perhaps I wasn’t clear enough. Do you think there are more people using unapproved peripherals in Quick Play than there is Competitive? I think there are significantly more in comp and most are at the higher ranks at that. The majority of players do not use these devices.

im on PC, so console players cant play in PC competitive lobbies…i wouldnt know in competitive on console…i would assume, but the number of, what appears to be ximmers in QP…that the number would have to be quite high on console.

How many ximmers do you think you see in quick play, on average?

ive not stopped to count…i know last weekend, i was getting between 2 and 6 console players in every lobby. I dont go back and watch replays on all of them, but i do when i see something suspicious. The ones i do go back and watch, their movements are FAR smoother than anything ive ever seen on any other console player… I couldnt put a number to it. However, if im wrong and they are NOT ximming…then id say that they need to take another look at aim assist, because if they are THAT smooth on a controller, aim assist may need to be toned down.

Lets put it like this, i watched a replay of a console player the other day…it was a sojourn. I watched from an external camera point of view as they were moving back and forth forward and backward…like you normally do when you are trying to juke and dodge bullets. In the external view, they were moving VERY fast, fast enough that they were VERY hard to hit…but when you went into first person view and looked through their view…their aim was EXTREMELY smooth…as in not drifting at all…and it looked as if they were standing still…

I know when i start to strafe fast like that…my cursor tends to also strafe with me, it’s hard to make those micro adjustments to keep the crosshairs pegged to the target, but this console user was doing it almost perfectly.

I asked about what that could be on the forums and the answer i got was that aim assist helps them keep on target better.

Also, half of aiming is done with the strafe movements anyway…and console users have BIG advantage in being able to feather their strafing movements, not like PC users who press a keyboard button and their strafe speed is 100% on or 100% off…console users can feather their movements and be much more precise.

I see them all the time in my Total Mayhem games. I’ll be watching someone after death and can easily see their turning rate is fixed, no ‘flicking’ and movement is very predictable.
