Winston and tracer being buffed… thank god for rivals
This patch reminds and reinforces why I just don’t play this much anymore. Just yikes.
This is what really gets to me. Its not even a roller coaster. Its a sky dive with a defective parachute. Shouldnt there be positive patches mixed in?
It is probably because of Mahvel. I bet they lost a lot of Tracer and Winston players because Starlord and Hulk are basically the easy mode versions and have quite the impact. They be desperate.
Losers. Imagine wanting to play winston when you could BEHOLD THE GOD OF THUNDER
They might be building for pro content. OWL and OWCS has always been things like reaper, mauga, double shields, goats and so on. Extremely fundamental heroes that don’t really produce much content organically, outside everyone being a viewbot for skins.
Can also see the ana nerf/tracer buff making sense if 6’s become a new norm. AOE healing/damage gets stronger the more players there are on the field, and the more damage you need to do

Ah yes, more buffs to tanks, dps and more nerfs to supports, the clown festival.
Once you realise thor basically has mercys ga except without needing allies winston and his bug zapper can be easily dismissed as a failed experiment.
Meh, he’s just so slow and easy to bully
Having all his abilities share a cooldown sucks
It’s how the devs operate - one small nerf per patch for 10-20 patches. They’re too scared to make big changes.
Day 600 of waiting for real Doom nerfs.
Also, Tracer buff and no Ashe nerf? Surprising.
Buff to Tracer. Buff to Echo that is poorly thought out.
Most of this patch is fine. But there continue to be some BIZARRE choices in these patches.
Seems okay but the Echo buff reasoning is weird. Normally people would use it once the enemy is at half or less but they want them to use the beam to get the players into critical? I guess they’re pushing it to be more of a tank busting thing now? I’m not sure. Not sure about that Tracer change, particularly when some other counter hitscan have short fall off.
I like the Ana nerf because I think a good chunk of my deaths has her killing me in final blows or involved with me dying as an assist and a good part of it is the chunk of damage it takes off my health. So, I hope this gives me a bit of a breather on some breakpoints to react or escape.
Again support gets no love, just a nerf to the one hero that’s actually viable against dive.
They don’t need to give him anything, they need to remove something as he has too much.
Major L this patch, and as roleQ 6v6 is gone I’m foreseeing even less people playing the game till next patch.

Yeah that’s what I meant but used the wrong wording-should have said didn’t know what to do with him, so just stuck that cooldown on because-reasons.
