These are actually, solid changes. Not super amazing. Like i really think Hog should get a breather buff but the change to hook pull distance makes him easier to use and secure that one shot and pigpen no longer shooting enemies up also helps this. I liked the the other changes to other tanks! I still think the DPS passive needs just a bit more tuning down but hey. At long last, maybe i can bare to play the game now

Bravo devs, Mercy remains the worst of the worst in S9, you have achieved it, she is already on a plane outside of existence itself.

Nah, she’s at the very least tied with LifeWeaver and Illari. Damage boost is something she has over both of them.

Damage is something Illari has over both and pseudo immo is something Lifeweaver has over both.

I’d rather be playing Illari over either of the others tbh.

Yeah, I think they’re hoping that the DPS passive being nerfed will help her out quite a bit.

Don’t forget, she’ll get even more self heal from her passive now making her harder to kill.

Not saying I agree with them not giving her any slight slight buffs, but…I guess that’s why they haven’t :sweat_smile:

If that’s what you think it is then why you still here whining about it? Any reasonable person would quit already.

The sym changes are nice but fail to address her biggest issue. She has to be up close and has the durability of wet tissue paper. Either her beam should have a little more range or she needs additional health to give her more of a chance to actually do something with her beam.

I am not surprised by lack of junkrat buffs, but disappointed.

Side note, I think the torb buff to keep its dps the same as Mercy’s HPS is pretty funny lol.

No, 44 hp/s → 46 hp/s NOTHING, she continue in the worst state.

Trying out Illari’s primary fire and wow it feels way way better to shoot now

  • Added a new UI element above the player’s first-person health bar to show all active healing status effects (Anti-Heal, Amplified Healing, Reduced Healing).

Just noticed this!!! So does this mean you’ll be able to tell when you’re receiving reduced healing from the DPS passive now then?

If so, really nice change.

The Symm turret health change will be annoying for any shotgun characters and especially horrible for Brig

Otherwise a fine change for Symmetra

I always love to point out to people that torb turret can bassicaly negate mercy healing, so if someone cant kill through mercy heal, they are worse then a torb turret.

Now i can continue saying that!

Lol, we must be reading different patchnotes.

While a lot of these changes look helpful, I’m not sure they go far enough, especially when considering overperforming heroes don’t seem to have been touched in general.

Unless it feels significantly different than it looks, this probably will be the last week I touch the game during season 9.
