I bought the hero pack for $30 back in the day idk if it’s still that much, but you can effectively “buy” the game if you want.i got my money out of it for sure.

The only reason I played this was because it was a free game like OW and I had never played OW and was curious if I would like it. After playing OW, I now see how bad Paladins was.

The card system was not my favorite, I hated that most of the cast was behind a grind/pay wall, and I didn’t like the idea of cosmetics locked behind a battle pass.

Also, this is an OW forum not a Paladins forum. I now call Paladins the “cheap knockoff” of OW because that is what it played and felt like to me.

Also, not sure if other people ran into this, but it felt like it took forever to load into anything in the main menu and there was no way to leave a match. I only say this about leaving a match because a friend of mine was in a group with me and we got put into two separate matches instead of the same one. Neither one of us could leave except if we turned the game off plus the vc didn’t work for us. (I think cross-play was new for the game at the time, but OW still did it better despite the issues we have with it).

Palabugs is a bad and ugly game. Some characters feels very clunky.

Ultra unpolished game. They get 4 skins every 3 months. Very dead on twitch and youtube (how much dead? Imagine OW viewers ÷ 10).

Also, 7k players on pc and they keep losing players due to lack of polish.
And don’t forget their pro scene, dead since last year (because they can’t pay money and no1 watch their league).

Yea, because obvious Overwatch doens’t have bugs right that they still haven’t fixed.

Didn’t even know they had a pro league or a ranked mode until today. I don’t even remember seeing a Paladins section on Twitch.

Well, I don’t crash all the time in Overwatch. In Paladins you can crash searching for a match and then you get a penalty lol (delay in matchmaking).

Ah, I almost forgot, Paladins has 20 times more afk and throwers than Overwatch but in Paladins you get a bot because they don’t have backfill.
Ah yeah, and they don’t have role queue yet the queues for ranked are 5+ minutes in NA lol
