Because 4 months later it still sucks…
Now you know how the rest of the world feels. 
Same reason as the guy in indonesia said. Japan has laws that make virtual currency illegal when it comes to gaming (because it falls under anti-gambling laws). That’s the reason there are no casinos in Japan and also why you can’t win cash prizes at slot or pachinko machines.
