I have to say as someone who is 16, that all i read was somthing normal in a chat between students around 16-17.

To be so stupid? He came to my house, he brought me a modem, some candy, some flowers, sat down and had a lovely conversation with me, gave me a hug, told me he wished I was 18, kissed me on the cheek, and went home.
He was a perfect gentleman drawn in by a girl who just wanted a free modem. And despite the fact that nothing actually happened, if this happened in 2018 instead of 1995, he would have been crucified by the people on this forum.

I am seeing some very unsettling replies in this thread, so I have to respond to those: it does not matter if an underage child is fully aware of what they’re doing and being manipulative. Yes, that’s wrong of the child. But in the eyes of the law—and mentally—they are a child, and anyone who allows themselves to be manipulated while being aware of that child’s age is just as responsible. If you’re over 18, you’re expected to act like an adult, and adults do not have sexual relationships with children. Period. No matter how aware the child is, no matter if they’re 14 or 17, adults should know better.

It’s different when between two teens and an adult and a minor. Legally and morally. Regardless of the fact that this guy’s an e-celeb with a lot of fans he’s an adult who knew that this person was 14 or 15 or whatever. He’s responsible for his actions.
