OWL Countdown Cup - BOS vs FLA, ATL vs DAL, VAN vs WAS

Canada have already had their breadsticks this weekend, they shouldn’t be getting greedy now.

Interesting, cos another Bingo Board update just came out, and it looks like the Double Pulse Bomb square is still covered, along with a new square.

Regardless, Justice are on MATCH POINT…can they close it out?

Their best chance to win breadsticks is the diagonal;
Center (free)
Piledriver Elim
Double pulse bomb

Should be an easy one for the Titans to get.

AFTER FURTHER REVIEW…CANADA FEASTS ON BREADSTICKS TONIGHT!

While Canada once again earns a feast and staves off starvation for another week, unlike on Friday, it will not be a happy feast, as the Justice quickly bring the Titans back down to Earth.

FINAL (Match 3)

Nepal (Control): Washington Justice 2, Vancouver Titans 0.

Route 66 (Escort): Washington Justice 3, Vancouver Titans 2.

Temple of Anubis (Assault): Washington Justice 3, Vancouver Titans 2.

FINAL SCORE: Washington Justice 3, Vancouver Titans 0

WASHINGTON JUSTICE WINS!

Washington sweeps the Titans and brings Vancouver crashing back down to Earth. The Titans shouldn’t feel too bad, though, as they gave Canada a back-to-back feast of breadsticks.

As for how this match affects Countdown Cup Knockouts, here’s the Countdown Cup standings, updated to reflect Week 2 results:

Atlanta Reign 4-0 (4 League Points) (+7)
Toronto Defiant 2-0 (2 League Points) (+5)
Dallas Fuel 2-2 (2 League Points) (+0)
Los Angeles Gladiators 1-1 (1 League Points) (+2)
San Francisco Shock 1-1 (1 League Points) (+1)
Vancouver Titans 1-1 (1 League Points) (+0)

-Cutoff-

Houston Outlaws 1-1 (1 League Points) (+0)
Paris Eternal 1-1 (1 League Points) (-1)
Florida Mayhem 1-1 (1 League Points) (-1)
Boston Uprising 1-3 (1 League Points) (-5)
Washington Justice 1-3 (1 League Points) (-6)
London Spitfire 0-2 (0 League Points) (-5)

The Titans at least keep themselves within striking distance of the Knockouts, but with a match against the Shock it is going to be mighty tough in terms of qualifying for the Countdown Cup. Meanwhile, the Justice will officially bow out of the Countdown Cup with a 1-3 stage and a -6 map differential, having swept once and were the victims of sweeps three times. The Justice, however, are safely into the play-in tournament.

Anyway, that’s all she wrote for Week 2 of the Countdown Cup, ladies and gents. Matches will resume with the 3rd and final week of qualifier matches, starting on THURSDAY at high noon Pacific (3pm Eastern), so set your reminders and be sure to join us. Thanks as always to WyomingMyst for graciously hosting and at least keeping the threads mostly on-topic this weekend despite recent events. Until Thursday, from our wonderful host WyomingMyst, I’m Arena25, saying Good Night and Charlie Niners.

His optimism is entertaining.
For him to catch up, Custa has to lose some of his match up calls.
Custa is quite good at calling game results.
