I think it’s more important for literally everyone here if OWC (OW Classic) will return in 2025.
(Or even better yet: Before 2025).

Why spend any money on this when you can’t afford to put out decent character trailers?

Didn’t they already say they wanted to do future owc events at during different patches? And I highly doubt that would be in 2024 since they will be having Xmas event and running the 6v6 tests.

Or any decent content for that matter.

The game is dumpster fire but hey keep sipping money into the abys. No lessons learned from OWL.

Great, I can only support this.

I completely forgot OWCS existed. It just wasn’t on my radar after midyear.

Everyone in OWCS is mid, I can take them on ez

Yay, glad it’s coming back. I would listen to Soe and the crew talk about anything. Stockholm finals were fun to watch, and I got my Hone Depot Mercy skin.

The promotion and relegation thing will be interesting. Definitely something to play for.

I only watch OWCS for Soe she’s fine as hell

I met and got a picture with her. I think that means we’re married now.

So does this mean we are going to see empty promises of receiving currency for skins if we watch this, and never EVER receive a single coin?

Does this mean rapid fire patching that breaks the game and makes it purely unpleasant to play?

Or how about completely neglecting PVE and throwing it on the back burner yet again.

If you want profit for this game.

Just charge 40 dollars per newly created account. Make skins 1 dollar each on the blizzard store. stop trying to sell battle passes and make money that way. EZ.

Get rid of all AOE in the game and maybe it will be watchable.

Eventually, Blizzard will learn that Overwatch is not spectator friendly, that the unmitigated disaster of OWL was because there is limited interest in spectating a game that has no proper spectator perspective.

Everyone? Not so sure about that chief. There’s people out there who had their PTSD triggered by the state of OWC. That’s a hard pass

They still care more about the pro scene than the rest of the game even after they killed off OWL.
Wild.

Why would they do that tho? They moved away from that model as ppl spend less money.

People are not willing to spend $40 to start playing an 8 year old game. Its why long lasting live service games all ended up migrating to the F2P model. CS GO did it, TF2 did it, and CS2 and new games just started off being F2P because they realized that the buy to play model does not work long term.

What?? Another year of esports that we have to prop up? AWESOME. Not that I would waste money on propping up a failed experiment from a multi billion dollar company.
