What if Blizzard left some servers running OW1 in pure maintenance mode?

  • No more updates of any kind
  • Can still buy lootboxes and new accounts (feel free to help support your favorite product)
  • Removed RQ, leaving only Open Queue to cut down on… whatever…

Here’s the game you love to play, have at it. Do drop in on its FTP baby right next to it on the bnet launcher from time to time to say hi.

Would this have been so bad? If OW2 is a smashing success, then who cares? No?
