tiberius - sure his ult isnt used like genjis over there but you can cancel it to use your primary for its cauterize effects.
also how i learned to use genjis ult over here.
fast ult charge if you loadout correctly.
damage grohk - his maelstrom talent is super stackable.
ash - with her knockback, deploy shield and ult she can be played like reinhardt.
self heal is super good too.
dredge - so many loadouts but i only play harpoon.
fun looking kits but not enough time to figure it out;
talus - sombra esque.
ruckus - d.va with gattling guns.
buck - non close range shotgun, i dont like using his net which is his main mechanic beside jump.

shields are way worse in paladins, and the healing reduction doesn’t really mean anything when there’s healers that can aoe heal their whole team to full HP from half way across the map every 3 seconds
drogoz and jenos insta kill “buttons” are literally their ults, which you have to not only put time and effort into getting, but you have to aim both. Jenos ult is actually hard to get kills with if you have no set up due to its long delay.
drogoz can be killed in his ult before he hits anyone. (either during charge up or flying)

i never felt hero switching necessary in paladins. In ranked it’s a bit your fault if you use the draft system wrong, while it can suck a bit more in casual.
But unlike overwatch every hero in paladins is designed to be more self sufficient, so you can still skill your way out of trouble.
i love paladins tanks and have a lot of fun playing them. You have to play very aggressive but they are super rewarding.
paladins is very active, they are releasing champions every 2 months basically

did… did we play the same game? In paladins there’s basically no true one shot outside of ults and even then they tend to be more reasonable
bomb king definetely, but i also like to play pip. But my love is for the tanks, i play all of them, but the ones i absolutely love playing are the likes of terminus, yagorath, ash and barik. I can’t into fernando because he’s superficially similar to rein but you have to play him very differently and i have trouble adapting

And is every champion viable? Who cares if you have 60 champion but people only play like 20

Bear in mind Paladins is balanced around having a solo heal and solo tank though.
Every support has a degree of self sustain, and some trade off lower self sustain with higher damage or HPS (IO).

Io can have a lot of self heal if you spec into it.
Also, a lot of my games are either 1-2-2 or 2-1-1, not 1-3-1 in paladins.

Yes what you play with isn’t necessary going to be what the devs balance around when Paladins is open queue.
If you have 2 supports, you’re going to have low damage (unless you run damage talents but at that point you may as well run actual DPS champs), and the enemy will just swarm you with cauterize to deny the extra healing value.
In short: Paladins is very good at customising your gameplay to fit into a variety of comps. Overwatch could never.
Paladins is an OW1 clone.
OW2 is a Paladins clone.
And StarCraft: Ghosts is a Half Life 3 clone.
NGL, I think I enjoyed Paladins more than OW.
The only things that kept me playing OW and stopped playing Paladins:

Paladins art and visual design is gross, OW has some seriously talented artists working on it.

Paladins heroes are paid for or grind your entire life away trying to earn a new one.
That’s literally it. If Paladins looked better and had all heroes playable from the start, I’d have dropped OW years ago.

I can hard carry as healer in paladins. I cant do sheet in ow as healer. No matter how much people i rez, how much burdt heals i do, how many enemy ultimates i counter, how many antiheal and sleeps i do.

Lol Tanks and Supports can carry much easier in Paladins than oW.
The only OP class is damage really, it makes it so if you can assist your DPS as tank or support you snowball the game.

I recently tried it again and they still don’t fix the graphics bugs from YEARS ago
