The AI omnic stuff reminds me of the Animatrix. That’s kinda neat. Not sure about the general art quality but seems interesting.

Premiering in game in July. It was announced it will be added to the game at some point.

I assumed it was free on youtube on the PlayOverwatch channel; is it pay thing?
i mean blizzard is using the money players spend on microtransactions to make this videos instead of improving the game

you’re right. they have always had bad managment with things outside of overwatch. an animated series a long time ago would have probably made the game fresh. over the 7 years of the game we could have had at least 2 series
still we got hero cinematics but they hardly come out and not with every new hero. we get animated shorts on most heroes… but still a story series would have been cool

I highly doubt it’s that easy to pull out an anime that quickly. Not every game is trying to be Edgeruners, especially since game animes have existed in the past.
We can hate Blizzard; I just doubt pulling an anime out of their backside had a whole lot to do with anything.
