So far OW2’s sitting at a 1.3/10 rating among players. The votes are still coming in, but it looks like another Blizzard disaster. But hey, at least OW2 has scored higher than Reforged and Immortal, so far.

Overwatch 1 was a painting of a rose.
Overwatch 2 is a real tulip, but it’s surrounded by the worst smelling manures money can buy.
Perhaps that manure is healthy for the flower, but if I can’t smell it over the “cow droppings” I wouldn’t want to stick around long.

Also, yes, the Metacritic was review bombed for launch server issues. It reminds me of D2R getting review bombed for the same thing despite being a genuinely good remake. Metacritic should block user reviews for the first week or two of a games release frankly. It’s the only way to make user reviews even useable for multiplayer releases.

both. i also enjoy it much more bc there is much less cc in the game (tracer main and i dropped ow1 in late 2019)
the quality was never aproblem in OW. the balance was.
