Seriously I have no idea how people have played it for so long without a scoreboard. It’s such a huge quality of life improvement of the game. I just got flamed all game I was playing on torb and I was doing so much (I felt) like I really have no idea how we lost.
If anyone has the time/patience feel free to watch the replay and tell me where I was throwing, replay code is C39FGZ
Without looking, the things I remember was I wasn’t happy with my ults & I didn’t bother using my ‘good’ turret spots and opted to throw it on cd because I felt like team was gonna crumble if I bothered tbh. Also I got a random nano and had no idea what was happening but other than that I think I had heavy contribution (but apparently I was throwing… even though I has 42% damage (I think it was like 24000 in 14-16 minutes).
Anyways yeah, game is dog**** without a scoreboard…

First sentence of yours already nails it. You dont know what happened.
Scoreboard might help people with lower gamesense, people with it usually see the problem and therefore dont get triggered by toxicity.
Also turn off chat.
Pretty sure everyone gets triggered by toxicity to some degree, from bronze all the way to t500. Knowing that X player is doing nothing doesn’t help Y player feel better that they are being scapegoated…
The addition of scoreboard allows people to stop talking unsubstantiated BS because it’s more transparent. Although as a support player I think it would be nice to a have a healing received for each hero. Damage mitigated seems like a kinda useless stat in comparison tbh.
I dont get hypertriggered anymore even tho iam not the best player for sure.
Being more resilient helps you to enjoy the game. I can recommend it. Iam not sure scoreboard will fix your situation completely.
The scoreboard is gonna be double edged quite honestly. It’ll be nice for the players getting yelled at for not healing or dealing enough damage, etc because they can say “look at my stats”; But it will lead to teammates criticizing players at the same time.
Some of the games that I’ve played the most effective Lucio is when I am just spamming bounce and disrupting the enemy team but not getting kills or giving heals. The disruption I cause is enough to mess up the enemy team and my team can secure the point or kills. I get almost no medals in scenarios like that but the team gets a victory.
It will certainly lead into people using the data incorrectly. Oh look I have more elims and dmg than the widow, I must be doing much better. Meanwhile the widow is getting the first kill each push.

Eh people already do that too tbh. Like Zarya players who scream at their DPS for having gold damage. I only really see this happening in in bronze, silver, gold tho tbh, never in higher games

I get into arguments all the time like that with Roadhogs.
“I have gold kills”
“Yeah that doesn’t matter when you leave the rest of the team to die in a 5 vs 6”
Which is why a scoreboard is largely useless other than for people to use it to be toxic. Or stare at it mid game arguing instead of playing. I think a nice detailed scoreboard at the end of the game is a good idea tho. Only info I care to see mid game is spawn timers, hero choice, and ult charge.

scoreboard means nothing if you know how bliz calculates kills.
you can also be a terrible healer if you just solo heal your main tank doing absolutely nothing else.
i had games with 50+ kills and i was doing ok and games with 30 kills where i absolutely carried. its not how many kills or heal you have but when and how you got them.
The scoreboard’s pretty nice for getting a rough idea of what’s going on imo. If I pulled up the scoreboard and my co-support wasn’t putting out a lot of healing, or was putting out a metric ton of healing, or was dying a bunch, that’s all stuff I can use to try and gauge if I should swap to another character.
As opposed to now, where it’s guesswork on my part and we still get jerks acting like jerks. For example, I had a game of Havana where our Hog went “Oh look I gold dmg unlike the Widow and Sombra, I must be doing much better”.
Honestly, this.
Mid-game scoreboard is just more distractions for people to get obsessed with. It’s unnecessary. Leave it at the end for the curious or the ones who want vindication, but it’s not necessary mid-match.
And if they’re gonna leave it, make it a separate key than the tab key. Tab key should just show me ult charge, spawn timers, heroes, and my own personal stats.

It is terrible. Basically the only thing you can say now to prove a point is “dude look at the replay, you are wrong” … and guess how many players look at replays after matches. Maybe 10% ?
