OW is still my most favorite game

Can safely say I’ve played OW more than any other game at this point, and I’m still learning new things.

Taking a tiny break after last night’s matches. Sometimes I can get myself really worked up over this game. Yesterday, I even broke a rule I have, I don’t play OW in the morning before going to work, usually.

Played a couple matches of competitive after waiting in 7 minute queues to play tank. The 2nd match especially was worth breaking my rule. It wasn’t a win because I’d yet to break my loss streak, but since it was a good game, I wasn’t grumpy at work. Aside from being at work, that is. :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Anyway, I just wanted to say that OW, despite its flaws, is still one of my favorite games, if not the most. It isn’t perfect, but still in one of the best states it’s been in years.

Just wanted to add a little positivity to the forum.

Well said Adieu! :clinking_glasses:

OW will always be one of my favorite games as well. Not sure If Ive overtaken the Halo series at this point (started playing Halo back in 2001) but Im probably really close at this point! Its been a wild and sometimes frustrating ride, and I still love this game!

To Overwatch! :clinking_beer_mugs: :pachimari_mew:

It’s actively a lot of people’s favorite game. Mine too, especially after the changes that have taken place over the years. These forums whine and complain about the game rather than play or even accurately talk about it.

I’m not even against being critical of the game, it’s important to point out a game’s shortcomings so it can improve but a lot of discourse here is disconnected from reality.

As have I, but it will never be Persona 4 or Ocarina of Time.

I got pretty good at not caring recently.

What in the name of?

Sad, but true.

You always do.

i got into overwatch for my partner but now i play it way more than they do. i dont usually play fps games or shooting games in general and yet i keep getting told by multiple friends that im addicted to the game :joy: it is definitely my go to game if im gaming solo. been playing it for years now and it is still one of my favorite games.

I complain a lot because I care.

Still play the game every day that I can. Overwatch is the greatest game ever created in my opinion.

It’s in the top, for sure. I think Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3 still have more play hours for me, but it’s close.

I can’t be 100% sure of that myself, cause there are some games I played a lot as a kid, but it definitely wouldn’t surprise me if Overwatch did turn out to be my most played game of all time.

Definitely can say it has never been my absolute favourite game ever, though it was certainly among my favourites at some point. It has fallen quite far imo, but y’know, I still play it a lot and find it enjoyable. I honestly don’t know whether that says more about the actual quality of the game, or my standards/taste :woman_shrugging:

You always do. :brown_heart:
(I know ThiccBuddha already said it, but he’s got an unfair timezone advantage, I just woke up like an hour ago -_-)

I agree, Overwatch is in one of the best states it’s been in years. Overwatch to me is gaming perfection, everything about it is extremely fun and amazing. The characters are fun and complex and well designed, especially Mercy!

If the rumors are true I’m 100% buying it!

Breath of the Wild is so mid by comparison!

Which rumours would those be? If they’re about some OoT re-release then meh. If the next Zelda is going back to the OoT style then I’d be more interested - BotW was a huge let-down for me.

I think I can say the same at this point. I think I’ve played it more than I played COD back in the day now at this point.

I love this game so much, besides real life stuff this game is always on my mind. Of course I take mini breaks here and there to work on some single player games, or dabble in other online games. It’s honestly hard to even imagine what could take me away from this game permanently.

I wouldn’t call OW my favorite game (That’s Resident Evil 4 2005) but it’s definitely in my top 5 and it’s easily my favorite multiplayer game. Been playing since the open beta back in 2016 and I don’t plan on stopping until the game shuts down which hopefully won’t ever happen.

Its my favorite too. EDIT (favorite at the moment) Its hard for me to fathom this game being 10yrs old already. Granted, 2019 to 2026 were a blur, i only play maybe an hour or two a day. But really the only thing dragging this game down is the communities toxicity and you can get out of that somewhat easily.

When i think of this game being ten yrs old im already thinking we should be on ow3 at this point but how they fumbled story mode i dont think its really at a point because of live uodates and just having hero updates and modes.

Please bring back story missions. Please and thank you.

I had no idea. This has been a dream of mine for years. Everyone got their favorite game remade, but not me. Even Persona 4 got one. Like, sheesh! But OoT is the literal GOAT.

My all time favorites are single player games so I may be biased. But as far as multiplayer games goes, Overwatch takes the crown.

Give me a Zelda OOT remake in Unreal Engine 5 and you have my attention!

Heck!

Give it the full DLSS 5 treatment!

And 4K 120 FPS!

I want to see the individual pores on Zelda’s face!

For any Zelda fans I do recommend the Oceanhorn games!

They’re some of my absolute favourite and the best part?!

You can play them on an iPhone or Mac natively!

Heck!

Oceanhorn 3 is Apple Arcade exclusive!

Meow!

Got my Switch 2 yesterday and I love it, nice step up from the switch 1. Plus thought I’d get it before the expected price increase.

I’m enjoying Mario Kart World, and I forgot that I had a Nintendo account with 12 virtual game cards from the SW 1, so I’ve got a nice start. Next on my list is Starfox, passing on the Pokémon game tho as I’ve never ever watched it and have zero interest.

For the size of the thing, being able to play 4K 60 FPS is quite the achievement-looks so good on my mini LED TV.

And real happy being able to play games at 120 FPS on 1440P. I thought I’d have buyers remorse like I did with my series X but nope. Xbox Series X was so bad imo it just gathered dust

Only problem is Im going to have days where I don’t have a clue what to play as Ive now got a PS5 Pro (with VR2), my gaming rig and now the Switch.

Tbh tho I’ve been using my pc less and less since getting console.

Unreal how fast gaming tech has evolved. Never did I imagine that I could fire up my Switch in bed, and if the WIFI signal isn’t strong enough, I can just use the WiFi hotspot on my android phone. It’s mindblowing how we started with the Atari console to this sort of technology.
