I didnt read most of your rant but what I can ensure you that the pace of game def excels when you reach a higher bracket of skill.
Stop with the brainless chatgpt copy & pasting it just makes you look absolutely…I’ll go with ridiculous.
I mean? Really? This has already been released and they’ve scrapped the rest of it anyway
It just makes you look silly.
you’re such a joke
Ow1 was slower and seems to be the community favorite.
I ask in game a lot and most people tend to agree.
it doesnt need to if anything they need to slow down heroes to two per year and do them properly.
the core gameplay used to be solid before s9.
the less they had updated ow2 the better it would have been.
the way we don’t even have weapon inspects yet lol… which themselves aren’t significant, but rather that everything they promised has either been half-baked or not delivered, despite claiming they would focus their efforts on pve, and then consequently… leaving mauga in the state he was for a month? taking a year to do minor reworks? needing months to add some recycled assets to a map? leaving a lot of heroes to rot? awesome
No, but its the first time I play a ton of other games that push out content like crazy with as good as a quality as OW. So the “we need time” excuse is kind of dead.
OW2 is better than OW1 in my eyes and will always be. The point is that “faster than OW1” is still not a good steady stream of content like other games are able to put out.
I had the most fun in Master, where there are just some games when I was the one underperforming or just not able to excecute the plan of the team. It was MY fault when we lost and it was always rewarding to play and to win or lose.
Now in gold I only overperform, but it does not matter, because it stands or falls depending if I have at least 2 other people who are playing the game with a monitor that is on. It really gets old, because as soon as I press tab, I know what I see:
Tank with a 3-8 KD ratio
DPS that are barely trading with a 10-10 KD
The other support somehow died 13 times with 7 assists
And I sit there with 5 kills, 20 assists and 2 deaths and get mad, because I outhealed our Ana as Zen.
You can use ChatGPT for a lot of things, but its just stupid as an argumentative tool, because it can’t understand how we act here. Its not a tool to get information about games or to argue with people on a game forum. Please just stop.
Why even reply when your just using ChatGPT replies most of the time? Trying to see how long it takes until you got enough reports to get banned from the forums or something?
bad bot! bad bot! -whack-
It’s more about direction, not speed. Driving off a cliff is bad idea regardless.
Very controversial take, but the direction is fine. The time it takes to fix widely known problems is the issue. In other words: speed. This is not a OW1 or OW2 discussion, its the time it takes for blizz to put out content that does not suck.
The citation is that horde is bad at googling and chatgpt lied to them.
Your approach to gaming is incorrect fundamentally, your hype should be around improving and doing actual challenges, like unranked to GM with 100% winrate for instance. You have over 30 heroes all super-unique making it a mini-game by playing each of them. Playing store or waiting additional stimuli is pleb’s approach, you are getting farmed by competitive players for this and then complain on forum about your skill issue calling it smurfs and cheaters. The game is competitive and that should be your only incentive.
Because there are more cellphones and plebs around the world than actual players who play the game and not the store/hype/givemereasonstoplay.
Many reasons. First of all, those games are designed with addiction in mind, as many new trends of PC gaming were born and tested there. Second, because it allows to play round the clock, as smartphones are more common, than PC or consoles.
Not something to be inspired by, honestly.
Frequent updates are just a way to cover up for a game that is lacking in replayability. This is what mobile games do often and it doesn’t last forever. I’d rather have less frequent but quality updates and better balance changes. OW1 barely received any updates in the last 1.5 years, it was pay to play (you had to buy the game), the game required 1 extra team on both teams, and yet there were people still playing the game, quite a fair bit.
I want the balance and fun factor to be good for all roles so that when I get bored with DPS or support, I can spend time on something else (e.g. tanking). Right now, that’s just not the case with how frustrating and boring the tanking experience is.
Back in OW1, I felt encouraged to get good at all roles. In OW2, it’s really hard to bring myself to play tank and get good at the role, because it just doesn’t feel very rewarding even if I get good at tanking.
So good balance/all roles feeling fun to play > frequent updates for me. For “new content”, I’ll still be happy with just new skins being released frequently while new heroes/maps can take a bit longer. Just my preference though, others are free to disagree.
And this is the problem: its not at that level anymore. We dont speak about PNGs who get updated every week and rather fully playable games that get updates constantly.
Most mobile games are trash, but not all and there are quite a few who are impressive for being mobile games. This is the main reason: they play good and have a lot of updates. Its not just “a lot of updates” anymore.
Not to mention I rather have small updates every 2 weeks than 3 big updates a year…
You can have 6500 damage and 3 elims in OW2. You could never do that in OW1.
You would be surprised how much more damage without kills was possible due to two tanks…
Either way, I would rather mobile games not exist at all, as they are where whole cancer of gaming started spreading from.
