I am totally going to play it if it is 2016 OW but it is not going to work if it is just an event (even less if it is side mode)

There’s a blog! There doing multiple Overwatch Classic events for different eras of the game

Health pools, damage outputs, and projectile sizes are also reverted to before the Overwatch 2: Season 9 update

this is amazing! I’m mainly excited to be able to play 6v6 early before they do the more “balanced” tests in later seasons but i think the nostalgia will be very nice as well : ) Finally a reason to play overwatch again

I don’t think people remember early early Overwatch with Hog’s hook being busted or Hanzo’s Scatter Arrow being a one shot if he looks at his feet and fires. Could be wrong.

Unless your on console, because then she is the most broken character in the game.

It would hard split the community that would sky rocket times in queues again.

The simple answer for everything “why not put OW1 in arcade” would be due to a dwindling playerbase.

If this is truly 1.0 be ready for 150 health Zenyatta being 1 shot body shot by widow. Brings me back to when I mained him vs that. He got his 200 health when Ana got introduced.

This is definitely a stress test for 6v6. Lots of issues would mean more time required before real 6v6 release. Lets hope no issues.(specifically on consoles)

a limited time event that takes the state of the mode through various patches of ow1 is prob the most I’ve been interested in any sort of “overwatch classic”.

And I won’t be home to try any of it. :smiling_face_with_tear:
