Overwatch VS BO4, BF5 and WW3

Ahhaha…no

As someone who follows both Bethesda and Bioware, its clear as day both of them will flop and hard, why?

Lets start with Fallout.

Fallout 76 is a failed concept. People want Fallout, people want multiplayer experience in Fallout BUT they want it limited to co-op experience.
The vast majority dont like the forced multiplayer aspect of the game where we cannot find a single NPC to talk to, instead the only human beings we gonna see is gonna shoot you on sight.

People dont cooperate even here in a 6 man team in a team based shooter, how could anyone expect they gonna cooperate in an environment which dosnt encourage it, its a disaster. Most people gonna kill each other and search for nuke codes to…well kill even more people.

I could go on and on about Fallout but lets continue with Anthem:

Anthem is making the very same mistake that Fallout 76 is doing, and what Battleborn and Agents of Mayhem did. They make a game that nobody wanted in the expense of other games they wanted.

Gearbox made Battleborn instead of Borderlands 3, many people didnt play it just out of anger. It failed.
Volition made Agents of Mayhem but people wanted Saints Row. It started to fail very fast and in response they started to add more and more Saints Row characters but it was too late. It failed.

Its pretty much clear to everyone that EA forced the release of Andromeda while it was not properly finished, just because they wanted that staff working on Anthem, the game nobody asked for. That game is dead on arrival. They underestimate the amount of upset people over Andromeda. Anytime they post some news on facebook about Anthem, most of the comments looks like this: “No thanks”
“Fix Andromeda instead”
“We want Dragon Age”
“We want Single player game”
“I dont want this Destiny clone”

You should not worry about these 2 titles AT ALL. Its absurd.
What we witness right now is a revolution. Players simply had enough and the number of people who just accepts everything they show to them is decreasing every day. Overwatch suffers the same, the quality and quantity of the stuff we get keeps decreasing while the number of unhappy players are increasing, Blizzard is very close to a massive sh.tstorm, all we need is a spark and the game is going to be in a lot of trouble.

Sadly I am tied into Anthem with the Premiere Pro pass also. :stuck_out_tongue:
I wanted it to be great from when I saw the first trailer way back when…but after Andromeda and how it was handled I won’t be shocked…if it’s terrible.

OW has different type of playerbase.

Those games are nothing but more of the same and are only targeting their vet players to play them.

Unless some more original game pops up, OW isn’t going to lose a lot of players.

You say that but there’s still people like me interested in them. Also they still have fans I see excited for them. You may not care for them but we will still take hits from them none the less. It’s just a matter of how big and will they comeback after thier done

Like i said, i would not worry.
Considering the situation they are in, the only chance they gonna survive the first 6 months if they do very very well on the first 2 weeks. Otherwise the hate train will outright murder it, as it did with Andromeda and “No Ones Buy”(No mans sky).

And considering the reasons i explained above, the hate train is especially strong on this. Seriously, just watch Bioware’s facebook posts. On their latest news post about Anthem i didnt find a single comment in the first 40 or so which was not implying in some way that they are not gonna buy it.
For a game with this kind of reputation to be successful…well its hard. Its not impossible, but nevertheless we Overwatch players wont feel anything of it, thats 100%.

The games are vastly different. I am currently playing BF1 alongside OW, and will be playing BF5. But I don’t see myself leaving OW.

Not interested in any of those. The only game that could pull me away from OW would be a Half-Life 3 game. (One can wish).
