Overwatch pride skin challenge coming soon?

They have country flags in game.

It can’t get more political, lol.

And being LGBTQ is not political.

You can do the same in LoL. At least to the russian/turkey servers (although it costs money)

they didn’t have a problem back when the Blitzchung incident occured, kinda wild

Country flags aren’t political.

However being LGBTQ is political in certain countries and idk if Blizzard just doesn’t want to get too involved.

Ok but that has nothing to do with pride. Also it just proves my point that they don’t wish to get political, they never said they agree or disagree with him.

What’s wrong is that blizzard could loose ungodly amounts of money because the first thing that would happen is they would get banned from all the foreign countries they pissed off.

We already went over that.

And you are wrong.

They Are lol.

A country flag represents a political socio-economic system.

Is call of duty not made by blizzard? They have pridr stuff.

Excuse me? I’m not saying weather or not it should, I am stating a fact.

They would be banned from certain countries if they did that.

Partnered with activision. Also I had no idea about that. Are you sure they have that content for middle eastern countries?

I take back what I said if they do

A countries’ flag represents a country. Otherwise you’re saying a game of football is political.

From this year?

And thus a political socio-economic system.

Yes.

Yes, they have that there, too, but it is called “color event”.

Funnily enough, many people say that football is, indeed, political.

Again, a countries’ flag represents a country not its politics. LGBTQ isn’t a country.

Such as?

If football is considered political it’s not because a countries’ flag is used.

Go to this thread.

It was your example.

A country is litterly a political entity.

And now you see the issue.

How’s that thread got anything to do with my argument?

Every country has a flag to represent itself. LGBTQ is not a country or a geographical location, but it still has a flag to represent members of its community. Therefore the comparison between Blizzard having countries’ flags in their game and an LGBTQ flag is simply stupid.

You’re ignoring the obvious fact that the nation-state is an unambiguous political entity in your effort to try and dunk on Pleitedieb.

The thread shows you what LGBTQ stuff call of duty mobile has.

well that would require blizzard to give a crap about giving us new content, so i don’t think its gonna happen

I dont see the issue at all.

These heroes and characters are meant to be more fleshed out, with some form of depth for them - Mardi Gras was that for Ashe.

There is space for an LGBT+ event because we already have LGBT+ heroes in the game.

Definitely. I am utterly shocked they even bothered to give us the icon. They could have just withheld that for Overwatch 2.

if they were to make a skin challenge, they would have drop the rainbow icon with it.

The ignorance thinking Blizzard’s decisions are just about upsetting part of the community. It’s more likely because of foreign markets where Pride isn’t recognized, and maybe illegal.

So, just so you get some content you don’t really need, we’re just gonna deny players in other parts of the world, maybe even players that still have to hide who they are, from playing as Tracer or Soldier or equipping a generically titled “Rainbow” icon?

No, no… just keep thinking about yourselves.
