Was Fahzix really that much of a presence in matches?

I think he appeared in the first stage of matches.

Vancouver finally confirmed the worst kept secret in Pro OW!

TiZi makes his return to the league. The former London MT joins Vancouver from Third Impact (previously known as GRUNTo Esports, and before that Chicken Contendies).

The schedule for the 2020 season is here!

It looks like New York will be hosting the first matches of the season, on Saturday February 8th, whilst Toronto and LAV share the honour of the final homestand of the season, on the weekend of the August 8th/9th.

Speaking of weekends, at first glance it looks like that’s what OWL is becoming: a weekend league. No more staying up to ungodly hours on a weekday required.

Sorry for the month long bump, but news has been quiet until now. Goldenboy to be on the stage again.

Also details for this years Grand Finals rewards have been revealed on OverwatchLeague.com

It also seems that LA Gladiators have now split from Esports org Sentinels, and are now purely a Kroenke team.

I am wondering if the decision to split gladiators from the sentinels, has anything to do with the fact that Stan kroenke right now is trying to whistle up enough money to afford to get Altitude TV back on the major TV telecom providers.

Altitude TV, is the regional sports Network that serves Colorado and surrounding states to provide Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rapids, and Colorado Mammoth games. for about a month now Altitude TV has been cut off of DirecTV Comcast and dish Network due to contract this piece of all three providers. All of these teams and altitude TV our own by Kroenke.

That definitely sounds like something the Kroenkes would do.

Houston have started their rebuild today:

With both their Head Coach and Assistant Coach gone now, it appears as if someone completely new will be in charge next season. What that means for the playing roster is yet to be seen

More coaching changes, this time from Shanghai:

F5 season is truly here:

In addition to these 4 departures from Washington, Shanghai have found their new HC:

Moon is promoted back to the league from Shanghai’s academy, Team CC. He previously coached LA Valiant in Season 1, and Stage 1 of this year

Ark is apparently a free agent now. Not released from the Justice but not under contract either.

And now so is Dpei, head coach of the Gladiators

The lack of an official press release from LA suggests he’s just in the same position as Ark: possibly staying, but not officially on the books anymore

When are new teams usually announced if any?

No new teams this time round. I think they want to make the switch to localisation as smooth as possible, and that means a year off from adding new teams.

Oh. That actually sounds logical. Thanks for the info.

Another free agent that may yet remain with their team, this time Sleepy

And here come the first official player announcements

Nus and Birdring both leave London a season after reaching the top of the mountain. They are joined by S2 signing Guard, and coach Jfeel.
