Overwatch just dropped off of Twitch front page for the 1st time

when?!?!?!??!?!
actually tell me because there are 0 patchnotes about it

there was a radius reduction it was probably way back i cant remember but it was well talked about how the radius of the blast was reduced

Come on guys, just because you constantly see people writing “I quit” threads on the front page of the forums, doesn’t mean the game is dying /s.

Um… Okay? It’s not a big deal.

Yeah it’s since been going up and down a bit. it was even up to 18k and around 10th yesterday.

This was just something I saw yesterday around noon time that shocked me, that OW isn’t even on front page, which for as long as I remembered, it’s been front page.

(as someone mentioned, it’s happened once before apparently)

I’ve only ever gone to Twitch to get the free stuff from promotional events. I would rather play the game than watch someone else play it, so that part of gamer culture was always lost on me.

Besides watching YouTube videos (mostly to learn new heroes) I don’t really care for viewership either way.

oh no…sky is falling…its not on twitch guys…i can no longer play the game?

i wonder how dead WoW is since its peak…10 years ago…whats that? new expansion? hmmmm

Years of seeing it happen on the WoW forums confirms this. “I quit” threads don’t matter.

Why is dark souls 2 above dark souls 1? 1 was waaaaaaay better.

Must be the constant gutting of balaced heroes, reworking heroes who just need some tlc, long waits between updates, introduction of way imbalanced new heroes, removal of fun, and general incompetence from the Blizzard team.

I mean, I’m honestly burnt out on overwatch thanks to Junkrats’ numerous nerfs and return to F-Tier, as well as other heroes I liked being totally ignored, ruined, or forgotten. Not to mention Brigitte being ridiculously busted since release. The game just isn’t fun for me anymore. It’s a hot pile of garbage balance-wise, and is super boring when there’s only 8 heroes who are viable right now. Guess diversity is an afterthought.

That’s actually what Blizzard wants, to be honest. High turnover rates.

It’s actually better than low rates, since the more people buy, play and then quit the game, the more box copies they sell, which means more money.

And the more people in the world who’s at least played OW for a while, the more potential audience for the OWL there’ll be.

path of exile??? I have never heard of that. probably cause of dafran and e3

Because a lot of it is is/was due to E3. That coverage was eclipsing even popular games like League and the like.

OP is just taking a snapshot at a single specific time, during a major gaming event, and spelling doom and gloom. There was a time when DOTA2s viewership was in the 14k range too, didn’t mean it was dying either.

Well its #17 right now and was #21 before, if xQc isnt streaming the game wont make it under the Top10.
Sad that so many good streamers moved on actually.

Imagine constantly fretting about how “popular” the game is, instead of just playing and enjoying it.

What a miserable life.

The game can’t really be enjoyable either. Not in competitive nor in Quick play. If anything a healthy life to those who don’t play it much.
