lol its a love hate with this game nothing gives me that rush like overwatch i just think for years the dev has been going in the wrong direction. I played this game sense closed beta overwatch 1
So basically a lactose intolerant person who can’t give up cheese or ice cream then lol
Love the taste but hate that it sends you to the bathroom for the rest of the day
Why you playing it then? I personally have a hard time staying with games, so i fade in and out. But at least i still like the core of overwatch.
Stadium doesn’t allow hero switching… I’d say give that mode a shot.
If that’s no good, I’d say give another game a shot.
If that’s no good, I’d say you’re doomed

but at the fundamental level. If Overwatch wasn’t a good game. It wouldn’t have lived for 10 years with this many players.
It is very frustrating at times. And parts of the community are pretty awful at the best of times. But it is a good game.
Theres no obligation to swap heroes. OTP’s exist. Personally I have a hero that i play 90% of time and do fine in almost all situations.
If you just keep at it, playing the hero you enjoy into matchups you struggle with you’ll eventually get better.
There are quite few “true” hard counters in the game imo.
Stadium is right for you.
Hero shooters do take from MOBAs, sure. But they aren’t MOBAs. Deadlock is arguably the closest because how many similarities it has to Smite (an actual third person MOBA) - so if you want that, Stadium is probably the closest you’re getting in Overwatch.
And as someone who has played League of Legends (and Smite) for over a decade, it’s okay to like both.
they added the two worst designed heroes of all time to stadium, Sigma and Brig

Sure, learning matchups is important. However, its not like there are no ways to outplay bad matchups either. Sometimes all it takes is adjusting your playstyle/approach. Being able to adapt with the hero you are on takes real skill.

Easily in the hundreds of thousands, steam alone reaches 40,000 easy. That’s not taking into account the consoles and blizzard launcher.
if you don´t have fun, just move on to another game.
I personaly have fun. I don´t need people to tell me, how this game sucks for them.

nah. you can play any hero and still climb.
it maybe easier with certain heroes but its not “i win now” button as you described.

Zarya is easily number 2 on bans. Right behind Sombra. Torb doesn’t really exist above like diamond.

.. I would say you don’t seem to remember that TF2 was crazy rock paper scissors for most of it’s initial run. Until some of the really crazy weapons came out, Spy was a huge counter to sniper/engineer, Sniper rocked Heavy, and Pyro made spy useless.
So I disagree.
if an entire team is countering YOU.. is that really “pick a hero and win”? That seems more like they’re handicapping themselves JUST to take care of you.
