I recently installed new 2019 halloween terror update, but when I tried to start the game it crashed.
This is how it went. I clicked the ''PLAY" button. After that game started opening and getting into fullscreen (Black screen without cursor). Then another black screen showed up (this time with cursor). After 1/2 of a second to 5 seconds the game started to crash doing these steps backwards.
I don’t have any Razer tech and tried everything on https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/34742
I have maximal requirements and Win 7 system.
I want to have this problem out of my head fast. I don’t want to miss another challenge week.

Update: The game works after restarting sytem, crashes after 3-10 mins of running the game. I’m waiting for another response. Thank you.
I have the exact same problem, which didn’t start until the last patch update.

Hey there Revanger,
I noticed the device is using 19.9.3 drivers. Would it be okay to try the 19.10.1 drivers instead? They’re only very slightly newer but may help resolve the issue.
Let us know if this works for you.
I updated that driver, but there’s no change in problem.
I have the same issue, and I’ve had it for a while now. I’ve checked out all other forum pages for it and the issue is still there.

Thanks for following up with us on this. To verify, did we already check for Razer Software on the system? Even if you no longer have the device and have uninstalled the software, some of the chroma hooks can linger and cause game crashes.
If none is found, please go ahead and contact support.
