Overwatch applying update issue

I’ve been having this issue lately with overwatch where it tells me it’s applying an update and displays an error message with " Error Applying update unknown error (HF-1). I’ve uninstalled overwatch and done all of the recommended fixes but I still cannot connect to a game.

Press Win+R Type %localappdata% Open Blizzard Entertainment folder Find Overwatch folder and delete it.
