It seems to happen after I die, it happened once in a quick play and again in a deathmatch. Basically, I cant see my ability bar, enemy heath, ally heath, or pings. The UI was not visible for the rest of the match.

I came here to report this same bug and see if anyone else had encountered it. I think it came after being Mercy rezzed for me. I died pretty quickly after noticing it so I didn’t think to get a screenshot, but I couldn’t see any UI elements at all.

Also here to report encountering this bug. The first few times I thought I hit hide UI, but I’ve come to realize it happens certain times after death and only goes away after you die or leave the game.
I have tried pressing the hide UI shortcake to fix but that only ends up hiding the few things left showing (temp, fps, clock, chat box) while still having all other elements of my UI missing

Same thing, happens every night I play. Sometimes it comes back after a random respawn/hero swap. It’s definitely not me hitting alt-z since I removed that feature from my bindings entirely. I have to spam Z to keep track of my ult charge XD
Happening to me, my daughter and wife as well. Definitely has nothing to do with alt+z. In fact, using that makes the chat and scoreboard go away, which are unaffected by this bug. Like Pete, it seems to randomly go away after death/swaps (not every time) or between games.
For me, it’s Alt-Tab that’s causing the issue. Every time I Alt-Tab I lose the entire UI. If I Alt-Tab again it comes back. But sometimes that causes me to be on yet a different screen. So I have to select the game along the task manager at the bottom.
Had the same issue in ranked it resetted after reaching the checkpoint
So. its been a while and this bug carried over from OW1? Im still experiencing this. suddenly I will have no UI, no sound, nothing. must wait for 3-5mins ingame before it gets back and it happens frequently. quite a gamebreaker

I have the same bug but after i restart the game i need to do an download on steam that takes 20 mins i have this every day
Update, this bug is still continuing to happen in 2024. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times on my One S, I’ve opened the console up and cleaned it, I’ve waited for the console to cool down and opened it back up, I’ve factory reset my Xbox, and this still continues to happen repeatedly. I’m at my wit’s end with this game, I can run any other game for hours with no issues, but overwatch refuses to function. And not only does this specific bug happen repeatedly, but it coincides with another bag that happens at the end of the game. You are locked into viewing play of the games because the pause menu refuses to open, and even when it does, you aren’t allowed to press any button, and when you finally do get back, it locks you into a full black screen with just the party list and the chat option. It is only sometimes fixed if another player in your party pulls you into a different screen or a match, but generally it is a full lock. Beyond that, the UI constantly freezes when doing simple things like viewing cosmetics. I’m about to uninstall and never look back because I’m sick of this game being broken at all times.
