Overwatch 2 is looting paladins grave? and stealing from MR?

saw a video about this on youtube a bit ago and it does make sense. even that new hero freja is said to be like cassie (dont have a clue since never played that hero in paladins)

also overwatch with perks and stadium being somewhat like paladins buy and card system.

then they are stealing hero bans from MR (well hero bans are in a lot of games) and also wasnt there something about a rank reset? i mean its weird they come out and DO THIS NOW after MR is stealing the show

only thing they havnt got is a surrender option hehe. probably should have it since with perks/abilities the game will probably get more STOMPY

Hero banning is not an MR exclusive, so I wouldn’t say it’s a “steal”.
This ban system on OW’s also aimed at skipping the super time-consuming ban selection phase, which IMO is a unique feature of OW itself. But I will never trust them (especially the A-guy, after all the lies and betrayals) until I see it with my own eyes.

But I do agree that they have taken a lot from Paladins, even before Freja.

It does seem like tgey are kooying Paladins more directly however OW has copied off Paladins for several years now…

Doesnt the Competitive Rank reset every season?
